 Since moving east, Blake has firmly embedded himself in the fabric of the NYC techno culture, playing such venues as Good Room, Space Ibiza New York, Electric Room, Provocateur, TBA, Open House, Porch, Karma, Bossanova Civic Club, TBA, 407 and Stay, not to mention the city’s many nameless warehouses, rooftops and lofts. Blake’s also played at such recognized events and venues as Burning Man, TV Lounge in Detroit, WMC in Miami, King-King in Los Angeles, Smart Bar in Chicago and Hardpop in Mexico. In 2015, Blake introduced REDHOOD, his solo alter ego that is committed to creating and playing the sound that inspires him, while consistently building his reputation as a musical tastemaker. Fast at work completing his first EP and various remixes as REDHOOD, Blake is excited to explore this next chapter in his musical journey and, after 23 years in the business, not only recognizes that music is his calling, but also that it is, in fact, the hero of his story.
