The latest mixtape comes from Budapest party starters CRIME. They organise parties by the same name in the Hungarian capital and bring loads of sick DJ's to various venues around town. They've also started a new series called 'Pumping Blood' which is an apt name for any pounding techno / electro party.

@highspeedviolence is a DJ/Producer/Party Organizer based in London via Italy.

As a member of @thenacht, she finds inspiration in both, the clubbing scene and the free party movement. Her sets and productions deliver a mixture of her multiple inspirations combining industrial and hardcore techno, hardstyle, trance, mental techno, acidcore and beyond.

Hexcode is a Budapest based artist, who found her passion in the sparkling club scene. As an emerging new generation selector she seeks out and embraces the progressive and forward-looking energies in her techno, trance, and hardcore inspired sets. There’s a sort of playfulness and levity to her selection, mixing the high octane psy-techno with 90’s weapons and cheeky pop anthems.

Irish DJ & Producer SMU has been developing his sound and craft over the last seven years, focusing his energy on the faster and heavier end of the dance music spectrum.

With multiple releases on very recognisable techno and trance labels along with several guest mix appearances and many more releases in the works for this year.

SMU has recently emerged in 2022 with his hard and heavy hitting productions but you can expect to hear a diverse selection of genres in his sets as he grew up listening to UK Hardhouse, Hard Trance and Hardstyle in his early years and moved into Hard and Acid Techno more recently.

“Play at 160 BPM because you can always go down to 150 or up to 170 BPM if needed”

AND/OR, 23-year-old DJ and producer from Budapest. His career started on Technokunst parties, and because of his love for music, he quickly turned his attention to record collecting. As the records piled up, in February 2019 he decided  to start making music as a hobby. His first performances were hosted by the student club of the Nyíregyháza University, where he and his friends wanted to bring quality music to the people of the university in the framework of free events, but this has since grown quite a bit despite the pandemic. During the pandemic, he was a regular face at illegals, and in addition to many smaller domestic festivals, you could already hear him playing music at Flashback, Arsenál, Trip boat, Turbina, Telek, Dark9, ILL Panoráma, Pontoon, Toldi, Aether and Potent events. His selection is characterized by the combination of new and old school, keeping the main pillars of techno but armed with a new, modern sound.

HIKIKOMORI @ukasz-omnicki - strongly associated with the Krakow team STK, he jumped behind the decks straight from the dance floor - that’s how we got another wizard from Dekerta Street! 
His selection is dominated by grooves, intertwined with classic ACID/UK notes and hard techno, to which he was partial to since the beginning of his adventure. He knows what a solid kick is. 
Hiki prefers playing fast and pays particular attention to dynamics, emotions and percussive details of music. You could meet him playing in such places as STK Warehouse, Szpitalna 1, Mashroom and the Sixa club in Katowice. 
This guy is a raising star of Krakow’s Techno scene! Expect to see him around very soon!

This week we have a true purveyor of classic sounds, Akemiö Grey. As the founder of Dreamphase, his output revolves around searching for the best of what the european rave scene has to offer. The long time, self-proclaimed vinyl nerd has been collecting and absorbing sounds from underground and commercial scenes for many years, visiting many raves and building upon his record collection which contains music mostly produced between the early 90s and mid 00s. As his search continues, he has opened up a new channel, Hard Attack, which is a concept put together by himself and Gysèle aimed towards the finer styles of hardcore. Keep an eye out for future events from both channels as there will be no shortage in the future, this guy is dedicated through and through to providing the finest music around and there is no sign of stopping anytime soon!
