Friday Givings

Richard Bouman started DJ-ing at the age of 12 on a small island of the Dutch north coast. Being one of the 'residents' at the local club he could experiment as much as he wanted with the music and discovered that electronic music was the one thing he would pursue. With his new found love being stuck on 2 standard cd players he decided at age 17 to buy 2 belt-driven turntables on which he learned the details of the art form. At the age of 18 he moved to the 'big' city and worked hard to get into the scene. He grew and grew and 6 years later in 2007 he was flown out to Egypt to DJ there for a month. We can say it all pretty much skyrocketed from that point on. After doing Egypt he played all over the Netherlands at numerous parties from small to big. With this experience he picked up numerous styles which make his set colorful and never the same. Feeding off of the energy in the crowd, he adapts his set on the people and that truly distinguishes him from most DJ's. Now that he moved to Detroit, get ready for a very Dutch influenced set, blended with numerous different styles such as techno, latin house and tech-house
