Junya Yamamura began his career as a DJ and organizer while studying abroad in New York. After returning to Japan, he has continued to curate unique parties that transform various spaces—ranging from nightclubs to art venues—primarily in Tokyo. In 2021, he launched his event series “lift” alongside Ryosuke Tushiya of Pflaume Sound.

Mix Description:

This mix was recorded during an open set at my party, “lift.” Designed to set the tone before a live performance, it focuses on creating a deep and introspective atmosphere. Through gradual transitions, the mix evolves to shift the energy of the space, maintaining a serious and immersive vibe.

Campout Series: Dorisburg

Klayman is a music addict since the age of 13, when his cousin (who worked in New York by that time) infected him with electronic music. As a DJ he first popped up at little house parties, but suddenly found himself in various clubs in Budapest. Due to a long-time clubbing experience across Hungary and Europe, he managed to absorb the knowledge of the dancefloors, which contributes in his DJ-sets. His heart still beats for the 90's house sound.

Between 2010-2014, he hosted a weekly radioshow on Tilos FM with White Rack called Lesson Zero, where they showcased a wide spectrum of music and invited tons of local DJ's along with playing guest mixes from Austria, Germany, Portugal etc.

After working two years in London he moved back to Hungary, and started a queer party series called Persephone with OMOH co-founder Alexandr in 2018, focusing on female, queer, trans folks, people of color, underrepresented communities and their allies.
