About the mix
This mixtape is an electronic celebration of the voice and resistance of Rim Banna, the iconic Palestinian singer and activist who passed away in 2018. The set includes both remixes of earlier songs and tracks from her album Voice of Resistance, which she recorded after losing her voice due to cancer.

About the mixer
Checkpoint 303 constructs soundscapes that weave field recordings and cinematic audio from Palestine and the Arab world with oud, experimental sound processing and complex beats. Through its electronic compositions and collaborations, Checkpoint 303 spreads a message for justice, dignity and human rights. Checkpoint 303 had several collaborations with Rim Banna.
