Here's GPWW Premiere number 6, this time some hip hop from @malkovichmusic.

Almost three years after giving up his home and all his possessions to travel indefinitely, homeless traveling rapper Malkovich presents Pre-Boarding, his new mixtape mixed by DJ Spinna. Iranian/British-blooded, Italian-born, and raised across the Middle East, Europe and Africa before moving to Los Angeles, Malkovich raps over African, Caribbean, Brazilian, Indian and Cape Verdean world music classics from Alice Coltrane, Shaan, Serge Gainsbourg, Rob, Orchestre Poly-Rythmo De Contonou Dahomey, Mulatu Astatqe, Augustus Pablo, Tim Maia, and Orquesta Joe Cain, as well as two compositions from L.A. producer Computer Jay. Omni, Sum, Chris Clarke and Ali Baba Abnormal also guest on the mixtape, which Malkovich wrote during his travels through the Dominican Republic, Belize and Jamaica.

After his „You Are The Star“ Debut-EP on Compost Disco past year, Ed Lee now presents this funk- loaded boogie disco EP. On the flipside, wunderkind Damiano von Erckert (AVA.) contributes a quirky broken uptempo re-work, a solid pick for crate diggers!

DJ & producer Ed Lee has put his name firmly in the limelight as one of the UK's emerging talents. Over a decade worth of experience has given Ed an unique blend of house music with a diverse edge.

Ed is also a very gifted DJ combining flawless mixing with forward thinking music selection, blending multi genres with his DMC finalist turntablist skills into his own unique style that seamlessly cross and break boundaries. As well as being a regular with clubs across the UK, he has Dj’d in a forever growing list of worldwide destinations as far a field as Melbourne, Hong Kong, New York, Ibiza and San Francisco. Ed has also played at some of the worlds biggest festivals such as Glade and Burning Man.

A striking, six-footer with model and film star looks, Alison David commands attention with an enchanting, magical stage presence. She has had an extensive recording career, signed to Polygram, Sony BMG and Mercury Records and championed by various famous artists such as The Black Science Orchestra, Colin Firth, Pete Townshend (The Who), Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Nile Rodgers (Chic).

Hailing from Germanys largest urban agglomeration, the Ruhrgebiet district, Damiano von Erckert (AVA.) represents a growing breed of artists not bound by genre specific constraints. Raised near by and now residing in Cologne, his broad interest in a variety of musical spheres started young, growing up under the wing of his father, also a DJ, allowing him to accumulate a varied taste in House, Techno, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, Afro and Disco.
