This just should not work... jumping from the high ups of the wobble to dubbed out grooves, with a the punk vox adding this almost syncopated swagger to it all... but it works. It fucking works!

I would ask what gave you the idea to mash these, but I expect that the answer involved a weekend you don't remember, a wrecked car with the body of someone you don't even know in the trunk, and that kid named Mickey who has been sleeping on your sofa ever since you woke up... ah, good times!

I was honored to be invited to spin a disco themed set for good friend and fellow Space Cowboy DJ Leyl Master Black for her wedding after party (Congrats Leyl & Mike!). I took the assignment seriously and so the next installment of Party People is here. Enjoy the pumping disco vibes!

Hot-ish off the presses (well, I do need a bit longer to recover these days, sadly!), here's the first of two sets from this year's Glastonbury - another fine one both in weather and vibe, which in the Cornish definitely felt "bigger" this year - bigger DJ booth and a better sound system, which definitely lent itself to upscaled vibes in the choice of tunes of many a DJ i'd say... Thursday afternoon found us following on from Twin Sun's barrage of disco classics, which meant starting with something well known, but not wanting to duplicate their sound soon had me heading off into the musical hills and valleys as usual before a cheeky speedup half way through and an even cheekier ending with some right old stompers. 

Huge thanks as always to the lovely Cornish management & crew for having us, and to everyone that popped by for a drink and a boogie, it was great to see you!
