A mix I've done to win a set at the mighty Shindig Festival in the UK.

Hello again - Following on from "Lucem Diem", as promised here's part two of this lil' 160/80bpm diptych (part one is here: https://soundcloud.com/kleptones/hectic-city-16-lucem-diem), although significantly longer than the first part, as it proved virtually impossible to edit down or leave things out - you know how it is... 

So here is the night before the morning after: "Tenebris Noctis", a 211 minute journey through 177+ quality tracks, some old, lots new, all good. Anyone that caught the last couple of years Glastonbury DJ sets will recognise quite a few choice moments contained within, for sure!

With summer here in all it's glory, I thought I'd send your way my new mix that I hope will make that sun shine that bit brighter whilst you check it out. It's volume 2 of last years 'Bring On The Brass', which was a mix by myself and was part of a free CD giveaway here on LSM. Last years mix was a Ghetto Funk fest, but this time around it's a Funk/Disco approach and I'm once again sending out a celebration of brass in the tracks I've chosen which, in my mind, always adds that extra spark to music. By way of extreme contrast, HC19 is, yeah, something completely different. A selection of rather poptastic old-school mashes and remixes in a reggae / hip-hop style with a little funk thrown in, some of which you've probably heard if you've caught Eric playing somewhere early in the evening. J*Star, Shepdog & Nuffwish/Bangers R Mashed get a couple apiece, as they're all pretty much solid quality when it comes to this sort of thing. Definitely a mix to keep in mind when those long summer evenings come along (unless you're on the side of the world that's got them right now, in which case, here ya go!)
