Łukasz Rychlicki (Lotto, Kristen) and Hubert Kostkiewicz (Kurws) approached in a specific way folk music from a post-industrial, urban perspective. The rural peripheries they imagined are cubist, projected in non-Euclidean geometry, distorted like a surface of a lake hit by a stone. There is a spontaneous movement in this music - not only abstract, but also almost mimetic. The nature and simple human work outline themselves subtly yet suggestively, like a phantom. Guitars give up their cultural baggage, rather resembling tools, mechanisms and processes identical to direct life. They overflow, roll, spin, knock, wear, fail, spoil. An ear that likes to combine dots into fuller images will hear the echoes of ploughs, working pistons and water mills, ploughing on the field, manual sowing. Someone else will notice life on a micro-scale - microbic parades, cellular transfigurations, exchange of elementary substances. Another person will perk up their ears at the contradiction, catching that true note of falsehood - a landscape after a collision, in which telegraphic wires weave along empty sandy roads, the smell of fumes rises on meadows, and empty wooden huts await death next to petrol stations.

The piece was performed on November 8th, 2017 during Multi-Explora concert in Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
"Untune" was a base in creating the soundtrack of "Tower. The bright day" by Jagoda Szelc.
In the piece I used hydrophone recordings made by Jonáš Gruska.

Wiosna ’91 to muzyczny powrót do czasów dzieciństwa - wakacji z rodzicami, zdartych kolan na żużlu, grania w piłę i jedzenia popcornu w łóżku.  Wybrałem kilka ciekawych ujęć z rodzinnego archiwum. Jestem pełen podziwu dla mojego taty za to, że chciało mu się nosić tak gigantyczną kamerę.

  Mam nadzieję, że oglądając i słuchając tego numeru, wrócicie myślami do czasów, kiedy wszystko wydawało się być ciekawsze, a jedynym ograniczeniem była dziecięca wyobraźnia.
