I know it's only been about a week or so since the album dropped, but it was so much fun getting to flip this incredible record from FUS. Sonny has been such a major figure in my life from an inspirational and creative standpoint for years now and this album blew my fucking mind the minute I started it. I immediately was inspired by this song in particular and a lot of you thought I should bring some of my unicorn magic to it, so I hope y'all enjoy my take on it!

🇮🇹: perché questo album è così importante per me?
esso racconta una storia di cambiamento, conflitto, suicidio, tristezza.
è stato il modo più bello che ho trovato per condividere con altre persone un evento che mi ha svoltato la vita in meglio, passando il peggio.
molti dicono che quando tocchi il fondo puoi solo risalire. 
cel' ho fatta.
abbandonando quelle emozioni negative, quella situazione tossica, lontano dal posto che non avrei mai chiamato casa.

nei sogni vedo ancora la sua faccia, vivo le stesse situazioni. una persona tossica ma che vale un' esercito, contro un ragazzo solo in cerca di fortuna all' estero.
sono cresciuto, ho maturato.
ho capito una cosa importante scavandomi dentro: non è completamente colpa sua. potrei essere stato pronto ad affrontare la strada, la povertà, le risse e la violenza. ma quello che ho passato richiedeva maturità emotiva.
per questo ho toccato il fondo. pensavo che la mia esperienza mi avrebbe salvato da una situazione in cui contava poco. ho affrontato la discesa verso il baratro per colpa mia e della mia insolenza. la sopravvivenza alla fine è per chi si adatta e cresce.

detto questo, ti perdono. credo che solo questo mi darà pace.


🇺🇸: why is this album so important to me?
it tells a story of change, conflict, suicide, sadness.
it was the most beautiful way i found to share with other people an event that turned my life around for the better, going through the worst.
many people say that when you hit rock bottom you can only rise again. 
i did it.
leaving those negative emotions, that toxic situation, away from the place i would never call home.

in my dreams i still see her face, i live the same situations. a toxic person but worth an army, versus a lonely guy looking for his fortune abroad.
i grew up, matured.
i realized one important thing by digging myself in: it's not completely her fault. i might have been ready to face the streets, poverty, fights and violence. but what i went through required emotional maturity.
that's why i hit rock bottom. i thought my experience would save me from a situation where it mattered little. i faced the descent into the abyss because of me and my insolence. survival in the end is for those who adapt and grow.

With that said, I forgive you. i think that alone will give me peace.
