LOD´s first work on his own imprint klitekture is now available with a remix from Sutekh. 
Cookie minimalism full of crackles and industrial elements trademark of this Spanish artist that is in charge of klitekture, synergy-networks and recently created calima.
Montmelo is a very complete and detailed work of minimalism with a contundent  groove nice for the dancefloor and elements to blow your mind while you dance or listen to it. The track is very long and yet it gets the impression you want some more from it since the tracks smoothly goes from one place to other without changing too many elements.
Sojourner is dark, groovie, gltichy, crackly, cookie, zwappy….a work full of experimentalism and details decorating a 4x4 rhythm. The name 4wd meaning 4 wheel drive shows the most techno oriented work from LOD
The sutekh remix uses the main elements from 4WD to give the unique caracter that this artist gives to electronic music. Great manipulation from one of the more relevant artist from the US minimal secene.

Montmelo (A1) es un trabajo de minimalismo completo y detallado con una base ritmica seca y contundente lista para la pista con los suficientes detalles para hacerte pensar algo mas en la pista. El tema dura casi 10 minutos aun asi te da la impresión de que dura mucho menos y es que su dinamismo lo hace muy comodo a la hora de escucharlo, el tema va de un lado para otro jugando con los mismo elementos sin caer esta vez en el hipnotismo usando no obstante muy pocos elementos
Sojourner (B1) es oscuro, ritmico, glitchy, cookie, zwappy….un trabajo de experimentacion y detalles decorando un ritmo 4x4. El nombre 4WD viene de la palabra 4 wheel drive que muestra la cara mas tecno que LOD nos ha enseñado hasta el momento
La remezcla de sutekh usa los principales elementos de 4WD para darle ese unico caracter que este gran artista sabe darle a la musica electronica. Gran manipulación de uno de los artistas mas relevantes de la escena minimal de los Estados Unidos.

The eight reference from the klitekture catalogue presents a work from the founder of the label, LOD, that comes with a good critics since ¨Sabado Gris¨, the original composition from this maxi was nominated as best track at the Qwartz Awards in Paris on march of 2006. Apart from the sutilness of the original track there are several very personal remixes from Sabado Gris by Pep Gaya, Krikor and Tomas Jirku .

There is no doubt that we find LOD with Sabado Gris in a great creative moment that he uses to offer a singular and emotive track, that plays with the repetitions of certain structures aswell as he does with our emotions, from the first listen it can be felt a feeling half way between melancholy and mistery that can transmit you any ¨grey Sunday¨(sabado gris) or Sunday, nevertheless while the track goes on the light open its way and never enter on a complete dark tunnel, the sutile melodies on a low-fi based minimal techno bring a great amount of serenity to the good listener
The remix chapter ads a wide range of stiles within a minimal concept, “Sábado gris” results recognizable eventough it sounds quite different on the three different adaptations, the revision by PEP GAYA can be deduced also as sutile, like the original, it also contains that magic that transmits to your mind while you listen to it, always with that sound halfway between dub and deep techno and highly hipnotics, an style that PEP GAYA controls perfectly
KRIKOR  also adapts with an excelent taste on his own style LOD´s composition, giving it a more groovey tone and a more funky attitude based on the reconstruccion and micro-sampling, a technique that Kirkor makes greatly and results very infeccious for the dancefloor

The third and last of the revisions belongs to TOMAS JIRKU, who centered his work  in offering a hard to define cut stylistically what makes it very interesting aswell as abstract, a journey through territories like techno, dub or experimental music in a wide sense and from a very low-fi optic. Defenitely KLK008 presents on its 4 cuts a good variety of styles and sensibilities from the interiorization to the lack of control, from the empiric to the theoretical and apart from it obtains a great audio homogeneity, maybe because the remixes respects in a big way the intention from the original

Español: La referencia número ocho del catálogo del sello presenta el trabajo del fundador del mismo, LOD, un trabajo que viene precedido de una buena carta de presentación ya que “Sábado gris”, la composición sobre la que gira el maxi, fue nominada a mejor canción en los premios Qwartz entregados en París en marzo de este 2006. A las bondades del tema original hay que sumar las personalísimas remezclas que hacen de “Sábado gris” Pep Gaya, Krikor y Tomas Jirku Sin duda con “Sábado gris” encontramos a un LOD en un gran momento creativo que aprovecha para ofrecernos un corte singularmente emotivo, que juega con la repetición de ciertas estructuras melódicas a la par que lo hace con nuestra emoción, y es que a la primera escucha se puede palpar ese sentimiento a medio camino entre la melancolía y el misterio que te puede trasmitir cualquier sábado gris ( ó domingo), eso sí, a medida que el tema avanza la luz  se va abriendo camino y nunca llegas a un túnel oscuro, al contrario las cuidadas melodías enmarcadas en una base minimal-tecno de aspecto low-fi aportan una gran serenidad al buen oyente.

El capítulo de remezclas añade todo un crisol de estilos dentro del concepto minimal, “Sábado gris” resulta reconocible aunque suene realmente diferente en manos de los tres artistas remezcladores, así la revisión de Pep Gaya se deduce también muy apacible, como la original, provoca también esa especie de hechizo mágico que te va dominando de forma casi inconsciente a medida que la escuchas, siempre desde ese sonido a medio camino entre el  dub y el tecno profundos y altamente hipnóticos en el que Pep Gaya se maneja a la perfección.
Krikor adapta también de forma excelente a su propio estilo la composición de LOD, a la cual le da un tono mucho más groove  y una actitud más funk a base de reconstrucción y micro-sampleo, una técnica de producción que Krikor realiza de forma magistral y que resulta muy infecciosa para la pista. 
La tercera y última de las revisiones corre a cargo de Tomas Jirku , quien se ha preocupado en ofrecer un corte difícilmente clasificable estilísticamente, lo cual lo hace muy interesante a la vez que abstracto, un paseo que nos lleva por territorios del tecno, el dub o de la música experimental en un sentido amplio y desde una óptica también muy low-fi. En definitiva, KLK 008 presenta en sus cuatro cortes una buena variedad de estilos al igual que de sensibilidades, desde la interiorización al desenfreno, desde lo empírico a lo teórico, y a pesar de ello logra una gran homogeneidad sonora, quizá porque las remezclas respetan en buena medida la intención del original.

Harmonic Tremor" supuso el debut de Krater, proyecto audiovisual gestado durante el 2006 a medio camino entre Barcelona, Berlín y Canarias. Fue un álbum  muy elogiado y bien recibido por múltiples medios especializados y ha sido llevado a escena en muchas partes del mundo, cosechando buenas críticas y éxito gracias a una propuesta en la que sonido e imagen forman un tándem indisoluble. Ahora se publican las remezclas de este gran trabajo a cargo de una nómina de músicos canarios ó vinculados a Canarias e inmersos en la experimentación más vanguardista y puntera, a los cuales se unen tres grandes talentos consagrados de la electrónica germana, Frank Bretschneider, Mapstation y Thomas Brinkmann.

La idea clave ha sido otorgar absoluta libertad a los remezcladores, animándoles a intervenir sobre cualquiera de los sonidos presentes a lo largo de todo el disco, y el resultado es un universo de exploración sonora finamente labrado que revela diversos estilos y actitudes.  Desde las revisiones más reduccionistas a cargo de Lars Ullrich, Fehlfaktor y LOD, hasta las más hipnóticas y ruidistas de Bretschneider y Mapstation, con sus retazos de krautrock y el exquisito eclecticismo de GAF, Tupperwear y Thomas Brinkmann que destila dosis de dub, jazz y techno.

Unos cortes han respetado más la sonoridad del trabajo original, otros lo han pasado por alto, pero todos recogen muy acertadamente su inclinación por sonidos crípticos, por provocar encuentros entre los fundamentales silencios y la presión del error y por mostrar una actitud musical libre y atemporal. Hay quizá un elemento unitario en el resultado final del experto trabajo y puede ser la búsqueda de la emoción via ensayo y experimentación.

Harmonic Tremor " was the album debut of Krater, an audiovisual project developed during 2006, half way between Barcelona, Berlin and Canary Islands. It was an album highly praised and well received by multiple specialized media and has been staged in many parts of the world, garnering critical acclaim and success thanks to this proposal in which sound and image are an inseparable tandem. Klitekture label releases   a compilation of remixes of this great work by a roster of musicians linked to the Canaries canaries  immersed in the avant-garde experimentation plus three great german talents, Frank Bretschneider, Mapstation and Thomas Brinkmann.

The key idea has been given absolute freedom to the remixers, encouraging them to speak on any of the sounds present throughout the entire disc, and the result is a universe of sonic exploration that reveals  different styles and attitudes. From the reductionist revisions by Lars Ullrich, Fehlfaktor and LOD, to  most hypnotic and noisy interpretation of Bretschneider and Mapstation, with its snippets of krautrock and the delicious eclecticism of GAF, Tupperwear  and Thomas Brinkmann that distills doses of dub, jazz and techno.

Some remixes have respected the sound of the original work while others have overlooked them, but all of the remixes accurately reflects  the album´s  cryptic sound by  provoking clashes between fundamental silences and forced erros and display a timeless musical attitude . Maybe there is a unitary element in the final outcome of the expert work and may be seeking the excitement via testing and experimentation.

This is a tribute album for Alex van Heerden, a musitian and a great person who passed away in 2009. All this works have been done, using sound and ideas from his different projects, by artists who have had a close relation with him or that have had the same vision of this music world and also have had the same respect for our work at sinergy-networks and klitekture. Klitekture Records was created in November 2001 by Luis Ortiz in the Canary Islands with the intention to publish works related to experimental music, audio-visual installations, video creations and related arts.

The name klitekture is composed of different terms like ¨ clicks, techno, architecture and structure " that mark the sonority and aesthetics of the works published on this platform by internationally known artists such as Sutekh, Mapstation, Frank Bretchneider, Deadbeat, Krikor, Tonne, Pep Gaya, Andreas Tilliander and Luis Ortiz himself under the pseudonym of LOD.

In its first decade the label has changed its base of operations at different times getting very active into the recognized scenes of Barcelona and Berlin in addition to various exhibitions and presentations at international festivals such as Sonar (Barcelona), LOFT (Barcelona), Stasis (Dublin) Superdeluxe (Tokyo), FDM (Guadalajara), ZMF (Berlin), Killekill / Berghain (Berlin), among others.
