I have no idea how to mix music yet but I gave it a shot. 
I had the idea on guitar and just fiddled in the rest.

I still don't know what I'm doing.

I wasn't thinking about the sound design of this song
too much during the tracking process but after listening 
to all the elements coming together, I think I have an idea
of what it's all about. 


In a broad sense I guess you could say it's about the duality 
of everyday life and the relationships we have with people. 
The dial tone in the beginning is someone reaching out to no
response. No one is on the other end of the line. 

After considering this depressing fact I thought that it could be 
a conversation between the melody and the thunder. An argument between
two lovers or an internal struggle within an indiviual.  


Things aren't always what they seem though. The melody could be a false
promise of a bright tomorrow and the thunder could be the protests of 
someone who actually cares. Love isn't always a calm voice and hate 
isn't always a storm. 

Life is almost never simple. It's a juxtaposition between our thunder
and our melodies and and eventually all of us hang up the lonely dial tone.
