Haight-Ashbury is a district of San Francisco, California, named for the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets. It is also called The Haight and The Upper Haight. The neighborhood is known as one of the main centers of the hippie and counterculture of the 1960s. Reason enough for Hatikwa to dedicate a song to this landmark of contemporary history.

Neben ihrer freiberuflichen Tätigkeit beim Faze Magazin leitet sie die Content Creation einer Memeseite auf Instagram mit rund 30.000 Followern. Die gebürtige Sauerländerin wohnt in Hamburg und hat an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg den Studiengang "Technikjournalismus/PR" mit Schwerpunkt Umweltwissenschaften erfolgreich absolviert. Seit 2017 führt sie ihren eigenen Psytrance-Blog unter www.wayofdk.de und führt dort primär Künstler-Interviews mit bekannten Artists wie zum Beispiel Fabio Fusco, Querox, Naturalize, Lsdirty, Talpa u.v.m. sowie Newcomern wie Deep Kontakt, Djapatox, PhaZed, Atype u.v.m. Die 25-Jährige sieht sich mit ihrer Arbeit als Bindeglied zwischen Künstler und Crowd und versucht damit beiden Seiten einen Mehrwert zu bieten.

If you never heard Atacama before you have to change it immediately. Atacama is maybe one of the most growing psy progressive trance acts in 2016. And they have a terrific 2017 in front of them :-)

Bio of Atacama:
Since their very first psytrance parties more than ten years back in time the Berliners Kevin Hentschel and Rafael Gomez never stopped experimenting with electronic sounds. Alongside multiple excursions into various sub-genres, own label activities and many open air- and club events the two friends concentrate since 2012 on the production of driving psychedelic trance music. After some releases in Spain and further mindblowing experiences while playing large festivals – such as the Fusion Festival – the two musicians re-invented their sound – and themselves – as „Atacama“. Sometimes mysterious, always complex and preferencial driving Atacama carry off their listeners in spheres between bygone experiences and oncoming promises where myths and reality, rhythm and movement merge into a cosmic unity.
