I was asked to perform the shortest dj set of my career at Lund's Kulturnatt 2023, as part of the project Nattväktare. This year's theme has been Varning! [Warning!] and my performance was a meditation about clarity vs noise, a reflection about what we choose to give our attention.

Det finns något unikt och förenande i dans och musik, som måste erkännas som livsnödvändigt. Men gränsen mellan det meningsfulla och det som distraherar är svår att se. Trots att man egentligen vet vad som är viktigt, kan man utan att märka det sugas in i olika saker, i skärmar, i beroende.
Mitt nattväkteri handlar om klarhet och brus. Musik kan vara en förförisk distraktion, eller ett knivskarpt budskap. I stället för en vardagsflykt, vill jag presentera dansmusiken som en meditation över vad jag väljer att ge min uppmärksamhet.
