Peter & The Magician "La Fiorentina"

The DJ and production duo became a hit in the past year or so with their their slow and punchy disco edits, which have so far come out on rubber-stamped 12-inches through their own label, Editainment. More recently they've begun playing live in clubs together, debuting last fall at Robert Johnson and later putting together an RA Podcast and a headline set at Sonar. Despite their growing popularity, they keep their identities under wraps, in order to, as they put it, "keep it spicy like it was back in the day." 

Through the Green will be Tiger & Woods first release on Running Back, not to mention their first "official" release in general: everything they've put out to date has been a white label. Half of the tracks are from their past records, and the rest are previously unreleased.

Early in 2012, the lads from Flight Facilities told me about a great concept for their Triple J Mix Up residency that was happening later in the year, and had a few tracks that they wanted edited. 
The concept for the mixes being a history lesson, not only musically but including global events that occurred at the time the music was released. 

They asked me if I wanted to work on one for them, and I couldn't go past choosing Lou Reed's 'Walk On The Wild Side'.

The mixes were aired on Triple J (Australia) throughout October 2012 and since no one has ever done anything like this before, 
and due to the incredible track lists each mix has, they've proven to be extremely popular. 

This edit was included in the first installment, which also contains edits by Tim Fuchs, Drop Out Orchestra, The Revenge, Skinny Joey, 
In Flagranti, Villa and of course, Flight Facilities.
