Moments In Time is a force to be reckoned with in techno music. Founded by Rudosa, a talented producer and DJ in his own right, MIT has a reputation for releasing high-quality, cutting-edge techno tracks that push the boundaries of the genre. Set for release on 12th May, Moments In Time welcomes the fourth instalment of its increasingly popular ‘Moments’ compilation. Moments Vol. 4 showcases a carefully curated lineup of hard techno and hardgroove names, including David Strasser, Tham, BLICZ & GEERSON, Militiā, Claas Herrmann, Amstra & Løinam, Konstrukt Alliance, SAMOH & NYCTONIAN alongside Rudosa himself.

Not for the faint-hearted, the compilation packs a mighty punch with slamming drums, industrial percussion, ominous melodic and explicitly underground flavours throughout. Each track is designed to get your heart racing, feet stomping, and fists pumping with pulsating beats, driving basslines, and gritty sounds that will keep your hair on end.

With a new season looming over us, Holldën brings in the crazy, the chariots and the fire all in one abrasive three-tracker — an EP forged in volcano-like temperament and one that is surely built to endure deep tear situations.

In a way, the gloom fits the bill, as Death To Holldën marks a departure from the Portuguese firebrand's signature sound of some of his previous works, shedding its colorful plumage and revealing a more raw approach to no nonsense techno radicalism.

Case in point, the title track, Death To Holldën, which starts with a crispy enough kick, lofty sub and addictive bass, only to take a twisted turn further up the road, coupling a delirious synth screecher with a scorching across-the- board sonic slasher, and complemented by a hat section every bit as incisive and slick as the accompanying soundtrack.
The second banger, Text In The Age Of Sexting, then comes into play, sweeping the speakers with an addictive blend of chopped vocals and sinewy synth lines, closing into and out of each other as pointy percs and deep-dive subs carry the tune into high-torque dance territory all throughout.

Back to heavy duty fireworks, the EP finalizes in style with How I Longed For Hopelessness, a power-play for late night glory, with its dense and burning textures cut through with ghetto-style vocal loops and sharp tops — a fusillade of fury and revenge befitting a record that's notably effective for both its conciseness and directness.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Grace Dahl. The Amsterdam-based DJ and producer has given us some of the hottest tracks as of late and she continues her streak with this killer new off off the forthcoming v/a on Berlin’s 01010100 Records. This is the label’s second various artists compilation and they further sharpened their vision with a big release featuring some of today’s most exciting artists including 8, Achat, Axyom, Bermind, DAKTIK, Daniel Heinrich, disruption, Grace Dahl, Jehra, Plaintiffs and re:akt.
