From volcanic lava to poisonous frogs in the jungle, he gives us a very complete package of 4 original mixes to which are added 2 high quality remixes from the Frente Bolivarista's head-honcho Pigmalião and the almighty Fabrizio Mammarella.

The first remix in this launch comes from the hand of the Brazilian Pigmalião who converts 'Phnom Penh Khave' into a powerful and mysterious break. Full of crazy resonances and clatters this masterpiece invites us to dive deep into a giant bassline and a very intense groove.

Music and rhythm can be life-changing for children and young adults who have experienced trauma and are struggling with anxiety. 

Music for Generations (Nesiller için Müzik) is a compilation album series focusing on bringing hope, healing, and resilience to children and young adults who have been impacted by the recent earthquakes of February 2023. 

As Kanto Records, we have partnered with two NGOs — Maya Foundation and Tüvana Education Foundation for Children (TOÇEV) — to make a meaningful impact on those affected by the earthquakes. 

Proceeds from the album sales on Bushido will be donated to support ongoing art and music therapy efforts in the earthquake-affected area. Proceeds from the album's Bandcamp and Spotify sales will be donated to establish permanent music libraries delivering art and music therapy workshops.

We are honored to feature incredible artists worldwide who generously donated their songs' publication rights to support this cause. We welcome all volunteers to support our mission. 

Every penny of your donation will directly support our project. We will be transparent in our actions and inform you of all developments through our website and social media channels.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. One night, as the magistrate traveled through the mountains (again on a trip to gain favor for his son’s future marriage), he saw an old man sitting alone in the moonlight. The old man’s indifference infuriated Magistrate Tiger and he ordered the carriage to stop. However, even the halting noises did not make the old man look up. Finally, Magistrate Tiger exited his carriage and went to the old man, still engrossed in his book. “Do you not bow to your magistrate?!” he roared. The old man continued to read. “What are you reading that is so important?” the magistrate demanded, and looked at the pages of the book. It was full of scribbles and scrawls that were not of any language the magistrate knew of. “Why, it’s just nonsense written in there!” “Nonsense!” the old man said, finally looking up. “You fool. This is the Book of Fortune. It holds all the knowledge of the world — the past, present, and future”. Berkay Mete takes a deep breath and blows all the miracles of this holy world. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can give you a lift to the heavens. Ahau, BIGz and Doga Erbek hold the keys in the gardens of Earthly Delights

The bird knew it was time again to flee from the cold and the human noise. It was a long journey to solitude. It gathered its flock to start their trip south. They crossed endless fields and dense forests, above them the crystal blue sky and the warm sun warming their feathers. The world was in silence. But on the horizon dark clouds gathered and formed a storm. Rain was hitting the earth like drums and thunder shook the air. The birds fought their way through the clouds, spending so much of their energy that they almost fell out of the sky from exhaustion. But the moment they broke through the clouds they were free again. Here they could have flown forever till their final destination.
