When we announced our first FLINTA* only session on the spot of a Jam Session a while ago the resonance was overwhelming – let alone the musical outcome. Making space is a regular practice in KMØN sessions now.

Ethereal Winds Session [07/11/22]

A glitchy and foggy encounter of MaxMSP, Makenoise Strega and heavily processed Vocals which met on the spot at our Werkschau. Brings definite joy and let's you drift away in thoughts.

... and all of a sudden a trumpet appears out of the woods of Ambient. It's getting screechy after an overall with this one as Jakob and Tilman found together with the brothers Fabian and Tobi aka. Floating Sketches.

Ambient Trumpet [07/11/22]

The Analog Station is equipped with electroacoustic noise makers such as piezo contact microphones amplifying droplets on sheet metal, lavalier microphones in watering cans, DIY guitar pickup instruments, a spring metal harp and more: Feedback inevitable!

Can there be any silence at all? 

While we were on MØNTAGE CAMP at Urhof 20 in Grünbach am Schneeberg, Lower Austria, S. Nicolussi (@bydl) recorded the last five minutes of "silence" in the big hall before sleeping. The eight recordings in total then were layered on top of each other to form this composition by themselves.

Tweaked room recording. A delegation of SKS / KMØN artists presented this improvised installation/performance at Semmelweisklinik Sommerfest 2024. The concept was an interconnected installation of different no-input feedback loops where every station affected the other. The visual part was an audio-reactive LED wall installation.
