DJ Kmin is interested in music since childhood. First attended piano lessons and then dance studio. Ever since elementary school Kmin cared about music production at school events. At the time he mixed from cassettes, but since 1996 he used decks. His first appearance was in one of the clubs in his native Ostrava in 1997 and since then has been a part of DJ culture. He started playing house and speed garage, which led him to nu skool breaks and nowadays he plays both styles, because he has also an alter ego Booty Callin (ex Kmo3). In addition to DJing he worked as a radio presenter and music editor in a radio in Ostrava. Although DJing since 96, music production started later. First with bootlegs and later with own songs and official remixes for some known artists. He is also part of production team for music festival called Beats For Love.

DJ Kmin se o hudbu zajímal už od útlého dětství. Nejprve se učil hrát na klavír, později navštěvoval taneční soubor. Na základní škole se staral o hudební produkci na akcích, kde se pokoušel o první mixy z klasických kazet. Od roku 1996 pak přešel ke gramofonům a vinylovým deskám. Jeho první oficiální vystoupení proběhlo v jednom z klubů v rodné Ostravě v roce 1997 a od té doby byl součástí tamní klubové scény. Na počátku hrál house a speed garage, což ho přivedlo k nu skool breaks a ghetto funku a v dnešní době se věnuje jak stylu house, tak lámaným beatům pod alter egem Booty Callin (ex Kmo3). Dlouhou dobu také pracoval jako moderátor v několika ostravských rádiích a jako hudební dramaturg v rádiu Helax. Ačkoliv se DJingu věnuje už od 90.let, s hudební produkcí vlastních skladeb začal později, nejprve v podobě bootlegů a mashupů, nyní již má několik oficiálních releasů a remixů pro známé umělce. Je také součástí realizačního týmu hudebního festivalu Beats For Love.
