This mixtape is a nod to the God-blessed island of Jamaica, a place that’s given the world so much love, rhythm, and culture. 💚💛❤️

Right now, our Jamaican family is facing the devastating impact of the recent hurricane. This mix is both a tribute and a call to action — a reminder of the island’s incredible cultural power, and a moment to stand in solidarity and support.

Rather than donating to an organisation we don’t personally know, we’re shining a light on our bredrin Natty Music, a UK-born artist now living in Jamaica as a farmer, living true to Rastafari principles.

He’s raising funds directly for local families and farmers affected by the Hurricane Melissa — grassroots support that truly reaches the people who need it most. 🙏🏾

JahMaker Tribute to the Island of Jamaica

I recently went to Womex 2025 in Finland, one of the biggest global music conferences — repping @british_underground and ArtsCouncilEngland 🙌🏾

Whilst out there, I recorded a radio show with some special guests..

I really enjoyed interviewing @gangstagrass after catching their live show.  We chatted about sustainability and had how they eat and cook locally. 

Their fusion of bluegrass and hip-hop really resonated with me and they gave us a live show on air too!

Next up was Dominic  the drummer for Stevo Atambere & World City — proper humble artists with powerful stories.  I loved hearing how their instruments are made from recycled materials and how sustainability is at the heart of their craft in Ghana.

My final guest was Dan Ford from British Underground - Big respect to Dan for supporting my journey these past two years and helping UK artists travel sustainably. 🙌🏾

There are an estimated 7.6 million people on the planet if each one of us took more responsibility for pick up Litter, the world and their environment would be a cleaner and healthier place. Teacher: One who brings forth the abilities and skills from within through education and guidance 

KMT is an astute, knowledgeable and experienced D.J and workshop facilitator with a solid background specializing in fusing Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance Hall, Neo Soul, Soul, Broken Beats, World, Grime and Pop and uses the arts to teach and encourage young people to express freedom. 

As a lecturer he uses the culture of Hip-Hop for social cohesion and to raise awareness of social issues and engages his audience with his knowledge and skills to affect and empower the lives of participants. He has experience in performing shows appealing to all people on radio and stages throughout the world for 12 years and is confident in motivating any sized audience in a variety of venues.
