Sometimes life´s raining down on you heavily that's when you need an instant uplift and yet again @hdsn_music comes along to serve you for that very purpose with his remix of DJ Aakmael´s stunner “Jazz Piece 2” With the original being a transcendent piece of art itself the ‘Bumpin Soul Mix’ becomes louche and irresistible. It´s a mix about hopes and dreams that pledges that everything’s going to be alright – promise. Clocking in at just over seven minutes long HDSN´s remake builds up a wave of euphoria so potent that by the time that the vocals come in, you’ll be bursting with pure bliss. The fact HDSN made this nearly eight years ago shouldn’t blind you to the startling power to push your positivity buttons. It’s pretty much the closest thing you can get to what we call the soul dang feel. Turn it up and you will feel glad to be alive.

My friend showed me this track Step In by Loure and immediately I thought it needed Kendrick's signature vocals and flow on top. The trumpets and the overall vibe remind me of the instrumentals from his album Good Kid, M.a.a.d City.
Originally, I started the project with the intention of a simple mashup, but instead I automated and processed the house song to leave room for Kendrick's most powerful lyrics. 
I still refer to it as a mashup in the title because I don't feel like I changed either track enough to consider it an edit. Also, SEO is important these days lol
