POLAAR is excited to announce the upcoming release of SNKLS, an artist who is redefining the boundaries of footwork and IDM. A collaborator since the label's inception, SNKLS crafts tracks where fragmented percussion intertwines with IDM and dub influences, drawing inspiration from the techniques of concrete music. His style is marked by a minimalist approach, where each element is pushed to its extreme, adding an introspective dimension to his compositions.

With « ELEMENTS », his new four-track EP, SNKLS makes his most powerful statement. Each piece plunges into a realm of bleep and dub techno, while others explore gong sounds and repetitive motifs, subtly evoking traditional Eastern music and minimalism. Building directly on the foundation laid by his previous EP, **Half Horn**, SNKLS skillfully plays with our mental space, transforming this listening experience into an immersive and obsessive journey that is undeniably modern.

Rounding off a trilogy initiated in 2019, this final volume of Geins’t Naït’s archives -as seen, compiled & triturated by Vincent Hachet & Thierry Mérigout, the original duo - showcases yet another facet of the composite industrial mashup the band discharged into the late 1980’s Dadaist French underground between 1986 & 1993. Geins’t Naït’s final edit for Éditions Gravats agglomerates bits & pieces picked up from the soil of a muddy barnyard.

“Formula V” is compiled solely of tracks recorded by local producers from the Urals.“Formula V” is an attempt to take a look at the inner side of the Ural soul through sound landscapes and moods, accurate modulations, atmospheres and tapping rhythms. The tracks on this tape build up a musical portrait of the city and the region making it possible to attend a local audio excursion. A slightly deeper and slower side A smoothly spins up and winds off to the rhythmical side B transpiercing the entire tape length with facile melancholy and slows down again at the end.

«Формула В» собрана из треков исключительно уральских музыкантов.
«Формула В» стремится раскрыть внутреннюю сторону уральской души. Через звуковые ландшафты и настроения, с помощью аккуратных переливов и постукивающих ритмов. Работы, составляющие «Формулу В» позволяют узнать город и регион с новой стороны, услышать их звуковые портреты, прочувствовать атмосферу и получить своё впечатление.
Более глубокая и медленная сторона “A” плавно раскручивается и разворачивается ритмичную сторону “Б”, пронизывая всю длину кассетной плёнки лёгкой меланхолией и снова замедляясь в конце.
