I can finally speak out publically about it. We are making the first full-length NES game with FULL HARDWARE MP3 SUPPORT.
We're using the GTMP3 (GTROM variant with MP3 sound expansion). It was used before for different music players or music carts, but not for a full game. It's time to change it.
Special demo of it was shown on the "Gramytatywnie 2019" charity event a few days ago.
This track was created in FamiTracker (2A03+DPCM) and then edited in FL Studio with FM synthesis (VOPM) and Genesis drum samples.
I'm really hyped about this project and I hope you'll be too!
