If you're into house music, chances are you will have heard 'Son Of Raw' by the don, Dennis Ferrer. It's a seminal track that features sumptuous pianos, rolling percussion and timeless vocals that simply ooze seduction. Basically, it's a fucking classic.

What's most shocking about the track is that it's now 10-years-old and even though Ferrer was producing long before that, it's one of his best and most recognisable tracks. To celebrate the anniversary, Ferrer's label Objektivity will release a brand new set of remixes that each put a unique spin on the original stomper.

André Hommen's remix keeps the main melodies intact but adds a bassline that doesn't mess around. It adds an extra element of bounce and once the second half of the track hits, those sultry vocals come charging in, sending goosebumps up any real house music fan's spine.

Following his feature as a remixer on Mihalis Safras weapon 'Acido', we finally get to see the VIVa Music spotlight shined in full on the Newcastle producer. The former Knee Deep In Sound, Truesoul and Noir man has been one of the UK's most impressive emerging talents in recent years and his latest release 'Divvina' is yet another step towards becoming a beacon of the British scene.

Today, you can catch an exclusive snippet from the release on When We Dip as we premiere 'EyeSpy', a thunderous, full-bodied cut, which once more showcases Cristoph's penchant for raw energy and captivating arpeggiators. This one's a certified roof-raiser. Expect to hear it all summer long!

Over the past two decades, Milk & Sugar Recordings has continued to supply dance floors with a steady stream of powerful productions, delivered by some of the most influential artists of House music history including David Morales, Todd Terry, Tim Deluxe, Gianni Bini & Paolo Martini, Jamie Lewis or Tiefschwarz to mention just a few. Not forgetting productions by a whole new squad of the freshest talent such as Mat.Joe, Dario D ́Attis, Kruse & Nuernberg, Kolombo, Doorly or Nora En Pure who are carrying the imprint’s catalogue to the attention of today’s generation of electronic music lovers.

For Milk & Sugar Recordings’ 200th release the label’s core artists Milk & Sugar, Yves Murasca, Ben Delay, Lissat & Voltaxx, Dry & Bolinger and Oriano have joined forces to create an “Anniversary EP”, consisting of seven super fresh and exclusive club bombs, showcasing the diversity and production quality of artists and releases throughout the label.

Dutch Tech House Hero Rene Amesz turns on the shuffling hats and presents a dark and stripped back remix of Milk & Sugar’s hit record “Ready Or Not” whilst German House head Yves Murasca, recently impressive with his “Hypnotize EP” on Kittball Records, brings you “Underground People”, an Original track that succeeds in balancing a reliable bass foundation with an ever trippy spoken vocal hook.

Lissat & Voltaxx’s addition to the package is an exclusive Re-work of their Tech House milestone “Sunken Bells of Ibiza”, where heady bells form the track’s exceptional atmosphere and make us dream of the sundrenched parties around the Mediterranean. 

Next up is one of the most consistent house producers Ben Delay. Over the last years he has become the label’s secret weapon and again he has not disappointed. He even submits two outstanding productions for Release Nr. 200: first up a bassy reinterpretation in his signature style for the label’s vocal classic “Love & Tears” by Aquarian Dreams. Then Ben comes with his original production “My Game”, a more experimental creation with broody vocal and driving Acid synth.

Munich based producer Oriano has been a strong player in the Milk & Sugar Recordings team for the last two years and contributes with his original track “Choke” embodying heavy bass, dusky vocals and moody synth pads. Then Dry & Bolinger are closing act on the EP with their house hymn “Got Back” which is taking them straight back to their roots of classic old school flavored house.

As the weather heats up, so does the Moon Harbour release schedule, this time with two terrific new tracks from label debutant Dario D'Attis.

At this point, Swiss artist Dario D’Attis is a real veteran with a long and deep appreciation for house music. From running his own parties to hosting a radio show, headlining round the world and producing on labels like Defected, Clarisse Records and Purple Music, he has done it all. Recognised for his fresh take on the genre and always killer drum programming, he is a standout talent and comes up with the goods once more here. 

The charming ‘Tribe Chant’ is just the sort of summery track that gets outdoor crowds going. The rubbery, loopy drums swing low, the vocals up top bring the vibes and little guitar riffs add funk and colour. It’s a track that builds in tension but never boils over, instead staying cool with muted chords and rolling pads that are always on the move. 

Second offering ‘Ceremony’ is seven alluring minutes of restrained, atmospheric and organic deep house. It keeps on pulling you in with flowing pads and tinkling percussion, while more vocal chants subtly increase the pressure. It’s a real set builder that has a warm heart and genuine sense of suspense. 

Both tracks here are classy house efforts designed to get the attention of the floor in smart new ways.

Our man DILBY is back on the scene with another bomb EP on MOTHER
RECORDINGS! Following on from the success of his hit 'THE PATH' earlier this year, DILBY delivers another stand out release of his signature chunky club weapons.
First up is the tittle track, „Tribal Talking“. As you might have guessed from the name, this is a funky, tribal edged house bomb. Swinging percussion brings energy and groove above a warm, driving analogue bassline. An ethnic vocal eases into the forefront and is joined by a catchy mallet riff that is guaranteed to stick in your head for the next month or two!
The second track here, „New Day“, is a warm energetic house jam with a throwback, feel-good vibe. Chunky vintage drums roll out a driving groove which creates an intense atmosphere as the lush piano riff sweeps across the sound stage. A soulful vocal sample rings out while lush strings and a bright analogue brass riff bring the tension to busting point. This is proper house music right here!
