Bontan makes a return to Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records this May with two energy fuelled productions on his ‘Rewind EP’, with fellow Brits Jhōnsson and Ralph Lawson also stepping in on remix duties. 

Since arriving on the scene in 2012, Bontan has seen an impressive rise that’s gained serious attention from big names such as Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Carl Cox. A long time friend and collaborator of Josh Butler, Bontan soared to atmospheric heights in 2013 as his remix of ‘Got A Feeling’ became the biggest selling remix of the year on Beatport. Fast forward three years and the house producer has shown no signs of stopping, with releases on Toolroom, Circus, Suara and Noir alongside appearances at some of the UK’s most iconic clubs and festivals, plus peak time Ibiza sets across Amnesia, Sankeys and Vista Club last summer. 

First up, ‘Rewind’ kicks things off with a selection of sharp shuffling hats, kicks and interjecting sirens amongst a bubbling and engaging groove. 

Next up, ’33 45’ is a powerful house cut that features Bontan’s signature percussion led, bass driven sound underneath a series of infectious vocal hooks before Jhōnsson adds his touch to the record, delivering an energy led remix that boasts a brooding vibe and thundering 4x4 kicks. 

Lastly, Ralph Lawson steps up to provide an impressive alternative to title track ‘Rewind’, unravelling the original and adding an evolving acid line and raw percussion to reveal a welcome, stripped back remix.

Italian great talents The Deepshakerz are back on the label again alongside house music icon Robert Owens. Rach is a super dope cut that showcase Deepshakerz' s solid and dirty grooves topped by the hot and deep Robert's voice.
On the remix side we called on board Hermanez, Sante Sansone and Cassimm that deleviered three outstanding different vision of the title track.

Over the past two decades, Milk & Sugar Recordings has continued to supply dance floors with a steady stream of powerful productions, delivered by some of the most influential artists of House music history including David Morales, Todd Terry, Tim Deluxe, Gianni Bini & Paolo Martini, Jamie Lewis or Tiefschwarz to mention just a few. Not forgetting productions by a whole new squad of the freshest talent such as Mat.Joe, Dario D ́Attis, Kruse & Nuernberg, Kolombo, Doorly or Nora En Pure who are carrying the imprint’s catalogue to the attention of today’s generation of electronic music lovers.

For Milk & Sugar Recordings’ 200th release the label’s core artists Milk & Sugar, Yves Murasca, Ben Delay, Lissat & Voltaxx, Dry & Bolinger and Oriano have joined forces to create an “Anniversary EP”, consisting of seven super fresh and exclusive club bombs, showcasing the diversity and production quality of artists and releases throughout the label.

Dutch Tech House Hero Rene Amesz turns on the shuffling hats and presents a dark and stripped back remix of Milk & Sugar’s hit record “Ready Or Not” whilst German House head Yves Murasca, recently impressive with his “Hypnotize EP” on Kittball Records, brings you “Underground People”, an Original track that succeeds in balancing a reliable bass foundation with an ever trippy spoken vocal hook.

Lissat & Voltaxx’s addition to the package is an exclusive Re-work of their Tech House milestone “Sunken Bells of Ibiza”, where heady bells form the track’s exceptional atmosphere and make us dream of the sundrenched parties around the Mediterranean. 

Next up is one of the most consistent house producers Ben Delay. Over the last years he has become the label’s secret weapon and again he has not disappointed. He even submits two outstanding productions for Release Nr. 200: first up a bassy reinterpretation in his signature style for the label’s vocal classic “Love & Tears” by Aquarian Dreams. Then Ben comes with his original production “My Game”, a more experimental creation with broody vocal and driving Acid synth.

Munich based producer Oriano has been a strong player in the Milk & Sugar Recordings team for the last two years and contributes with his original track “Choke” embodying heavy bass, dusky vocals and moody synth pads. Then Dry & Bolinger are closing act on the EP with their house hymn “Got Back” which is taking them straight back to their roots of classic old school flavored house.

Romanian duo NTFO return to Bondage Music as they deliver ‘Dobr’ this May.
With releases on the likes of Organic Music, Housewax and (djebali), plus a string of stand-out EP’s via their own labels Sintope and Sintope Digital, Timisoara’s NTFO have established themselves as key names within the realm of minimal and deep house since making their production debut back in early 2008. Having released their ‘Esperantza’ EP on the label last year, here we see the pairing return to Bondage Music in fine form to open their account in 2019 with the impressive ‘Dobr’.
Title cut ‘Dobr’ opens the EP as the duo quickly go to work, introducing a slick blend of sharp drum shots amongst snaking bassline patterns, whilst ‘Blissed Out’ combines organic percussion licks, punch low end tones and warping synth leads to great effect. Next, the first vinyl only track on the package ‘Riddin’ welcomes dubby pads and crisp hats before flowing steadily into the slinking, metallic tones and 303-tinged bass stabs found throughout ‘Standers’.
The digital package is rounded out via an exclusive bonus remix courtesy of label owners Pornbugs who remix title track ‘Dobr’ in style, welcoming smooth chords, hazy background tones and tripped out vocals to close proceedings.

Techno supremo Markus Homm returns for his second outing on Kenja Records with a killer EP that includes a monster Chus & Ceballos Remix.

The lead track ’Back At It’ is a deep and minimal journey into melodic house. A track that keeps the energy levels high but the vibe is distinctly subtle with a lush mid track breakdown with its atmospheric pads, synth stabs  and that hypnotic rolling groove. ‘Casino’ is more driving with a building bass line and a more pumping groove. The vibe is still deep with bleepy synths and soft pads working the track into the night. Finally, house legends Chus & Ceballos deliver a simply ace remix of ‘Back At It’. They skilfully pick out all the key elements from the Original and turn it into a peak time banger!

Markus Homm has earned his place and position as a leading DJ & Producer on the International Techno scene. A regular at legendary Berlin clubs like Panorama Bar, Watergate and Tresor.
