BIOGRAPHY:

Born in 1986 in Sevilla, this young man Stereo Artist Booking, after several years as a DJ and producer started at the tender age of 14 years, his songs have been heard around the world, support and played to Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Dubfie, Kaiserdisco, Chus+Ceballos, Reboot, Marco Carola & others, this year since it began to produce this permeating music labels such as Intec Digital, Stereo,Tronic, KD Music, Suara, Liebe Detail, Toolroom, Blackflag Recordings, and more… Playing in club's as Cielo NY, Pacha NY, Space Miami, Riviera Madrid, Kool Beach [Bpm Festival] and other big clubs in the world. Working in some tracks and remixes with DJ Chus too is producing alongside great international house producers and Danny Tenaglia, Kim English, David Penn, Carlo Lio, Doomwork, Saeed Younan, David Herrero, Siwell, Aldo Cadiz, Ron Costa and many more. In 2012 will open a new project called DOOD RECORDS a label focused on around the house already has international great artists of his sets commented that they really are intractable in the dance floor, its groove will not go through your head, cut enough ups and marked. It is a landmark of pure tech-house deep and current too in 2013 start with a new job of official A&R of Iberican Encodings label's of Chus!

After appearing on A-Sides Volume 4 at the start of 2016, Ilario Alicante now makes his full debut on the label. He has quickly established himself as a key player amongst a new crop of techno artists and truly is one of the brightest stars in the game. His skills behind the decks have seen him tour the globe with Cocoon, as well as appear at the likes of elrow, Lovefest and We Are FSTVL.

Opening with ‘Times’, the EP gets off to a flying start as the track rages straight into top gear, rolling through 6 minutes of pure power. This is a peak time tool that is set to be heard across dance floors worldwide this year. ‘Awakened’ you may have heard from Adam Beyer’s sets of late, a firm favourite which gets his much sought after seal of approval. Rampant syths and mesmerizing vocal hooks all make it one hell of a journey. ‘Sense’ is a more industrial affair, chunky basslines take your hand through the track as it charges on. It’s that classic deep Ilario Alicante sound we all know and love. The EP finishes off on ‘Apogeo’, with its hypnotic siren tones and acute percussion. One thing is for sure, Ilario Alicante is in a league of his own.

Hot new dancefloor material from Alex Stein - the Brazilian/Bavarian producer is currently getting props from some of the biggest names in the industry. Releasing here on Oliver Huntemann's Senso Sounds, Stein is clearly turned into the sound du jour of the underground, producing
here a tight release of slick, driving techno. 'Zeit' needs to be heard on a massive system - it’s a surefire festival and main room winner huge buzzing swells and spacy moments give the track endless drama. 'Atomkraft' is also tough-as-nails  muscular techno with a springy groove and moment of high atmosphere. Hamburg’s own André Winter steps up for a remix of the title track, adding his own signature vibe to proceedings likely to get as much attention as the original.

France’s globetrotting techno DJ/producer Julian Jeweil set to release debut artist album Transmission via Adam Beyer’s illustrious Drumcode Records on 7 January 2019. 

Over the past decade, Julian Jeweil has risen to become one of one of electronic music’s most respected artists and synonymous with cutting-edge melodic techno. Throughout his career, the Marseille-based artist has garnered numerous accolades and achievements including releasing on esteemed imprints such as Cocoon, M-nus and Plus 8, being Beatport’s #1 top selling techno artist (2015), remixing the likes of Moby, Deadmau5, Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann and Pan-Pot and performing at some of the world’s best clubs/events such as Fabric (UK), Womb (JP), D-Edge (BR), Drumcode OFF Week 2018 (ES), Drumcode Festival (NL), BPM Festival (PT) and Resistance (MX). 




With the accumulation of all of this success and experience, the time has now come for the talented Frenchman to continue his burgeoning relationship with Drumcode by following on from his well-received debut ‘Rolling’ EP (2017) and ‘Space’ EP (2017) with his much-awaited debut long-player, Transmission – comprising of 11 stellar tracks inspired by Jeweil’s ambition to produce an album for the dancefloor that would fully represent him without setting any limitations or boundaries.

The alluring space-themed LP commences with the exquisite synth-laden beatless composition ‘Intro’ which is closely followed by one of the album’s darker standout moments, the stomping peak-time title track ‘Transmission’. Elsewhere, there’s further dancefloor weaponry such as the pulsating synth-driven roller ‘Mars’, the edgy groove-based ‘Hyoid’ and the trippy acid-tinged ‘Turbulence’.

Other highlights include, ‘Planet X’ which showcases Jeweil’s mastery of atmosphere, serving as an ambient downbeat interlude when placed between the pounding Berghain-esque workouts such as ‘Internal’ and ‘Futura’. The album continues into its final triptych with ‘Astral’ and ‘Dorsal, 2 powerful bass heavy masterpieces, concluding with the aptly named emotional soundscape ‘Final’ to round off a superb debut long-player that’s well worth the wait.
