Bodashin and Lupe Republic is joining forces in creation of a deep organic track leading Amulanga’s 13 track Autumn Sampler VA. 

"Marina" is a song that takes you to a state of joy, to a state of positivity. It is the proper name of our music studio, located in the city of Barcelona, where we composed many songs, including "Marina". It is a transmuting place, where we let the negative become joy, hope, and illusion through music and creation. We want to give people a moment of illusion and hope. A fun moment. A moment to dream and fulfill our desires.

Rocio Portillo is one of the latest uber talented female DJ-producers to come out of Argentina. She delivers outstanding sets behind the decks and makes music that everyone wants to dance to. Here we have two tracks, one solo and one alongside Valley feat Karin Sar Sar. ‘Heaven Euphoria’ sounds just like the title, a true uplifting adventure. ‘Three Doors’ is an organic balearic beauty. Nick’s most hated instrument is the saxophone and even he loves it on here!

The latest release from Tash's Movement Limited welcomes Kris Dur to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Mexico, Kris Dur has been a fixture of his country's nightlife for the better part of two decades. As a DJ first, Kris has been honing his skills at some of Mexico's trendiest venues, oftentimes blurring the lines between progressive, organic and melodic house. Also a producer, the Mexico City resident emerged in 2022 with a contribution to 3rd Avenue's popular 'We Are the Future' series, before going on to record projects for Freegrant Music, The Soundgarden and his own Join The Culture imprint, in turn earning support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Nicolas Rada and Marcelo Vasami. No stranger to the Movement family, Kris would make his Movement Recordings debut last year alongside Chilean producer Tomas Pablo, as the duo delivered a standout remix of 'The Jungle' by Taylan. Now, making his much anticipated debut on Movement's Limited division, Kris delivers a two-track showcase entitled 'Proud Harmony'.

Beginning with the title selection Kris finds a perfect balance between groove and melody. Complete with deep and melancholic vibes, the Mexico City resident crafts an engaging top line to flutter and shift atop a sturdy foundation of punchy kick drums and voluptuous basslines. Fragmented vocals and dubbed out chord stabs further the track's rhythmic inflection, eventually giving way to a finale of mesmerizing melodic progression.

Rounding out the release are the smooth hypnotic qualities of 'Copal'. Warm, spacious and flowing with a freeform sense, the track's first movement is built around a chunky groove, spacey synth mutations and precise percussive arrangements, the latter of which carries a hip-swinging energy into the main break. Kris' creative attitude shines across the interlude, with gentle melodies creating a sense of space and calm, as percussion reassembles towards a dynamic drum fill and suitably groovy finale to cap off the EP in style.

Catching Flies presents 'Silver Linings Remixed', a remix album featuring versions of tracks from his debut album reimagined by DJ Seinfeld, Andhim, Soundbwoy Killah, Laurence Guy, Ron Basejam, Freddie Joachim, Grandbrothers and more.

Sequenced by Catching Flies into a flowing narrative arc, the remixes come from some of the producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ's favorite artists, hand picked by him to transform 'Silver Linings' into an alternate version.

"I sat down and wrote a list of everyone I’d been listening to over the last few years but then everything had to fit together and develop in a way that felt like a journey rather than a bunch of remixes chucked together. I wanted it to have an arc, to start in the headphones and end in the club. It's so fun to hear tracks with my favourite artists' take on them.”

Typically wide ranging on genre, the mood progresses from ambient soundscapes to hip hop beats, deep disco and house to breakbeats and emotive techno. Linking the album together includes a new Catching Flies track 'Daymarks', a "Part 2" version of 'Yu' which features a transatlantic rap collaboration between the UK's Jehst and US's Blu (of Blu and Exile fame) and his own "Ambient Reprise" of 'Satisfied'.

George King began Catching Flies in late 2012, drawing inspiration from a wide-ranging palette of music including jazz, soul, hip-hop, house and electronica. His debut album ‘Silver Linings’ was released in July 2019 and was hailed as "a soundtrack to summertime" by The 405 and awarded Album of the Month by Future Music who described it as "a brilliantly eclectic record…a moving journey that will last long in the memory". Clash Magazine praised the LP’s "killer beats" and "artfully orchestrated introspection" whilst London In Stereo praised its "exceptional production". Other coverage for the album included The Guardian, Complex, Dazed & Confused, and Nowness, with radio support across BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Worldwide FM and more. Artist support for ‘Silver Linings’ has come from the likes of Bonobo, Jungle (BBC Radio One Residency), George Fitzgerald and Lane 8. His ever growing fanbase has seen him perform live and DJ sets across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.
