Mr. Side is the latest EP from Nightdrive, a project that thrives on blending deep, immersive electronic sounds with retro influences. Set to be released on April 11, 2025, via FenixFire Records, this four-track EP takes listeners on a journey through downtempo atmospheres, stylish 80s vibes, and deep, rhythmic soundscapes.

The EP opens with Suspicious Faces, a track that immediately sets the tone with its stylish eighties-inspired synths and dreamy production. Following that, the title track Mr. Side shifts the energy with a more rhythmic, percussion-driven arrangement, keeping the groove tight and engaging.

The third track, I Breathe, floats effortlessly over the sound spectrum, creating a soundscape that transforms the dancefloor into a chillout zone. Finally, Peregovory closes the EP with an intriguing contrast—while it retains a cold and distant feel, it carries a warmer drive and flirty undertones, rounding out the EP with an unexpected but fitting ending.

Somewhere on the Bay of Biscay, in the city of San Sebastián, a sound was born. It doesn’t shout — it whispers. It doesn’t skim the surface — it digs deep. When emotions trigger sound. When it’s not about words, but impulses. When love is not a pink haze but a pulsing wave inside you. San Sebastián meets Siberia on frequency #065, and we are proud to present the new release by Javier Ho (@javierho-music) — Love Is The Trigger EP.

Three original tracks, like three phases of inner exploration: 
::: Digging Inside — like excavating your own memory. Slow rhythms and enveloping frequencies lead you toward your core.
::: Suggest Something — a subtle hint, a half-phrase, an open door to another dimension.
::: Love is the Trigger — the click after which everything aligns. In this track, there’s acceptance, clarity, and the pulse of the heart.

::: Daverage J. Normal (@thedaverage) draws the final line, wrapping the track in a veil of introspection and emotional swings.

This song was commissioned to me by Pheanir!
This song is a bit of a Phantasm-ish song, it's my longest song yet, so it was quite a challenge, especially planning out the structure of the song, but i think i did a pretty nice job at it, and i've learned a lot from doing a longer song than usual.
I was asked to include some more complex chords than usual (the ones that contain more than 3 notes), so i tried to consider how i could implement those in the longer structure of the song, i think it went pretty well! I also added some surprise major chords.
Working with more limitations than usual was quite interesting, i feel like i tackled this song in a different way than usual, i'm quite happy with it.
