Wake Up

Born Katrina Nicole in Orlando Florida, artist known as K. Nicole now calls the DMV her home. She started her musical journey in elementary school singing Gospel. There she honed her power house vocals and fostered a love for singing. 

This infatuation continued and led her to the street, where she performed regularly. Performing at landmarks in DC such as China Town and Lafayette Square (across from the White House). She developed a vast following just through word of mouth right before the social media boom. She also graced the legendary Apollo stage all before taking a hiatus.

Life may have paused things for K. Nicole but the fire continued to burn. Back to music like she's never left, she has a new found perseverance and maturity to her sound. Stimulated by artists such as Prince, The Internet, to Jhene Aiko, Drake and Sinead Harnett. Her sound, like her influences, has no limits. She enjoys R&B and dance music while also having hip hop and soulful notes to her sound. The velvet tone of her voice and gospel background make for an emotive and heartfelt delivery. Her deep soulfulness and warm vocals give you something you can feel and leave goosebumps.

As stated by the artist, "I want to deliver a mood/vibe every time I perform so the listener is left with a memorable experience." Releasing her first project after a long but needed intermission, she is more resolute and hungry than ever. This 2019 is the start for artist K. Nicole, to captivate the masses with her story and her voice. "It's never too late to do what gives you life."
