In the age of social networking, self-promotion is the only attribute with an upward trajectory. You literally get famous for/by making yourself famous, necessarily via a process of self-objectification. Fame is, in this regard, anti-feminist. Feminism, in general, however, ebbs and flows between a polarity factors attached to identification with the female form (the same objectification already implemented as patriarchy) at one end, and the unity of all, beyond form, at the other. So, you see, identification with form is the same as objectification. We are not objects, we are processes, one process really, and you could think of that process as the big bang.

Eating Away At Yourself

Judging your thoughts against the thoughts of others, even the vast majority of others, is no way to test your sanity. Sanity cannot be tested by thought because insanity is the inability to separate one's self, or one's experience, from one's thoughts to the extent that the thoughts are mistaken for reality itself.  Insanity can't exist in the absence of thought. Sanity is present in the non-reactive witnessing awareness, sanity is the stillness in which "being" is not somehow at odds with "what is." Insanity, then is being mentally at odds with what is- an illusory position which can exist only as thought.
