What is all of this 
No sense at all

a shocking realization 
My mastery is my comfort 
to conquer as none have 
the trivial things of this story

The slaves will scream
scream, cry, secluded 
and I step upon their heads 
reaching the climax of this mountain 
I reach my hand out 
touching the soul of an absurd story 
I am as close to God as it gets 
God is mortal, but not dead yet.  

A triumphant roar
covered in my own blood 
covered in your blood 
I am a legend, and your children will know my name 
And as they cower entering the void 
I will laugh in my maniacal assertion 
that the best had been done before it became without meaning.
