‘Shelter’ is set to be one of Cristoph’s most successful acclaimed releases, vinyl copies are currently in production and will be circulating toward the end 2014.  Support on the single reads like a who’s who in House Music, featuring in leading charts from the likes of Jay Lumen, Dale Howard, Mihalis Safras, Sante, Him_Self_Her & Sidney Charles.

In his early years, Cristoph was influenced by the sounds of his fathers Motown vinyl, paired with his older brothers Chicago and Detroit house cassettes, not a bad combination even if we do say so ourselves. This nurtured a passionate love for music from an early age, with him citing Masters at Work and ‘MK’ as early influences. From North to South and everywhere in between, Cristoph has been causing a storm on the dance music scene. His effervescent, broad ranging style encompasses heavy basslines, uplifting melodies and carefully chosen vocals, spanning the deep house to techno spectrum. 

Having had two No 1’s on Traxsource main chart with “Guffaz” and "Big H", it has been a busy year for Cristoph with bookings in Ibiza and across Europe.

Remixes on this hot package courtesy of Sante, Josh Butler and Snilloc with early support from the likes of Hot Since 82 and Richie Hawtin.

Snilloc takes things a slightly funkier vibe with a grooving baseline, clever staccato synth stabs and a big brass horn making this a dance floor must have. Next up is Josh Butler with a hypnotic heads down groove. Berlin star Santé emerges with quality a deep, dark mix. Showcasing his excellent production skills and a clever percussive groove. Last but certainly not least ViVa Music's new boys System2 come up with an underground floor shaker to round off this wicked package.

Having recently worked with Suara music, Cristoph’s hard work ethic accompanied with his quality production has gained the attention of Radio 1’s Pete Tong, listing him as a “Future Star”.

Wade is one of the biggest and undiscovered talents of Spain. He debuted on the label in the successful Kitties Wanna Dance 5 with “Revolution” but he have released already in labels as Avotre, Mood or Lost Records. His raw beats, fat basslines and clever use of the sampling is his trademark and you can find all those things in this release, where we have two killer original tracks, “Trucco” and “Collapsed Jam”. Oliver Knight & Hugo Jones are a U.K born, Mallorca based DJ, production duo, with a never ending passion for electronic music. The similarities in both of their musical tastes and backgrounds has seen them forge a very exciting partnership. They began producing at the end of 2011 and this has brought success with numerous tracks being released on some of the industry’s leading labels, including: Stereo Productions, Great Stuff Recordings, Global Underground, Strictly Rhythm, Ole, King Street, Maquina, Nirvana and Incorrect Music as well as their tracks being supported by the likes of Coyu, Umek, Riva Starr, Christian Varela, Christian Smith, Mark Knight, Tiger Stripes, Jay Lumen to name but a few.

Since their first release at the back end of 2011 they have collaborated with: Matthew Codek, Diavlo, Seff and Inaki Santos, been remixed by Kaiserdisco, Filthy Rich, David Herrero, Sonic Future and James Dutton. Not to mention the boys have become in demand remixers in their own right, for the likes of: DJ Chus, Abel Ramos and David Penn.

The pair first met in the summer of 2007 but due to heavy work schedules they never really had time for anything other than their own DJ gigs. It was early 2009 when they became neighbours that they began creating a DJ partnership that could be heard in Magaluf and in London when they returned home. Oliver had moved to London in the winter of 2009 and gained residencies for the pair and they also started a weekly radio show on one the city’s leading house music stations. Things were really starting to take shape at this point for the pair after getting huge plaudits for their energetic and enthusiastic DJ sets and at first what seemed like rough ideas were now starting to take shape for what would be their first production. As Hugo says “we just want to make music people can relate to” and this is what happened. 2011 was a great year for them when they sent a demo of their track ‘Navaja’ to the legendary record label Global Underground (a personal favourite of them both) Little did they know but at the time they were doing a search for new talent scheme and sure enough, the track was signed. Considering this was their first track to get signed and for it to be on one of their most loved labels you could say they were extremely happy! This release also came with a remix from one of the biggest names in the tech house scene, Kaiserdisco. 

The rest of that year saw more of their original material signed to countless fore frontal labels in the house music scene and remixed by some of the industry’s in demand producers. In 2012 they had releases on Stereo Productions and their own 3 track EP on Great Stuff Recordings. The guys have since gone on to remix Iberican house legends DJ Chus, Abel Ramos and David Penn. They had follow up releases on Stereo Productions and Great Stuff and these tracks also featured on some of the most respected compilation in House music.

So here we are in 2015 and the guys have firmly established themselves as an exciting fresh production duo. Oliver has returned from his residency at BCM in Mallorca and can now be found in his hometown of Bournemouth at his weekly residency at Bar So. An idillic and stylish venue, Bar So is renowned for being purveyors of quality house music for the past 15 years while Hugo has recently returned from an exciting residency at the brand new club ‘The Project’ in the Spanish resort of Costa del Calvia. New original material has been signed to Smiley Fingers, Mile End Recordings and The Deepshakerz imprint ‘Safe Music.’ 2015 is already shaping up to be the most prominent year so far for Oliver Knight and Hugo Jones!
