**Happy 4th of Jalaya, everyone!** 🎇  
This marks the first installment of what will become an annual mix series
Funny enough, I used to side-eye the whole "4th of Jalaya" joke growing up. But over time, I’ve come to love it—not just for the laughs, but for what it represents to me. 
Then again, I was the kid blasting Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down, as they exposed the corruption that woke something inside me.
To me this day can be more than satire; it’s a reminder of how far we’ve strayed. That this day is a memorial for rebellion. A flare in the dark. A reminder that our own governemt had become the very imperial empire the founders fought to liberate us from and prevent. 
What better way to shake loose deceit (especially after this monstrosity of a bill) then to blast a spirit of rebellion and have a good time doing it with lots of unreleased music and tracks I’ve been feeling lately
