Awesome track.. bringing old to the new 🔥

Austin Reynolds is perhaps one of the most influential producers/engineers in all of hardcore. Throughout his decades-spanning career he's had a hand in shaping everything from oldskool to freeform, and everything in between. 

Suffice to say, he's kind of a big deal, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome one of the most prolific producers/engineers in all of hardcore to Kniteforce with KF143 - Babylon Newspaper, under his Phuture Assassins moniker.

It´s a 12 Bit Jungle Out There and it´s touching down on Parallax! 

With releases on PPJ Recordings and Foundation Records and a strong online presence, you can´t escape his Amiga productions right now! His style is unmistakenly his and this EP gives a nice oversight what he´s capable of: great musicality, punchy and juicy breaks, boomin basslines, interesting and unusual arrangements - but hear for yourself. This was a long time in the making and we are happy to finally bring 12 Bit Jungle Out There to your eardrums. 

'You And I' closes the EP in style. This tune is totally 12 Bit Jungle Out There but the way he places things reminds on Lemon D´s way of writing tunes, think I Can´t Stop or Manhattan Melody. Jazzy chords, housey male vocals, and rising and falling harp sounds set the scene and build tension. Just when you´d expect it to drop superhard it surprisingly drops into a dry stepper, only to catch you with an unexpected amen later in the tune. And just when you thought that this tune has all the elements it needs it drops a third time (!) and a hard reecebass cuts your head off clean. A style not revisited so often and a deadly weapon when placed right.

This month’s Generation X [RadioShow] is a 2-hour special of pure nuskool hardcore euphoria. GLOWKiD kicks things off with a heartfelt tribute mix dedicated to Amaretto, spotlighting the sound of the Japanese producer before handing things over to an exclusive guest mix from the man himself.

Born in the mid-90s, Amaretto https://soundcloud.com/amaretto_old_skool is a devoted vinyl head with releases on Kniteforce White, 4 The Core, and Second Drop Records, but to name a few. His journey into Hardcore began through Konami rhythm games back in his school days. Sparking a deep dive into Happy Hardcore, Jungle, and Oldskool Breakbeat genres he now champions with a raw passion and respect for the '90s rave legacy. A regular fixture at Japan’s legendary WEEKEND RAVERS parties and armed with synths like the Alpha Juno 2 and Korg 01/W, he brings his own twist on the oldskool hardcore nostalgic sound.

To wrap up the show, GLOWKiD hits it with a heavy-hitting set of 160bpm hardcore junglistic vibes and 4/4 rave pressure.

On the flip, “Peace Within” is a much more laid back tune:  classy think break, gated vocals and a sweet melody.
