Pre-empting the Break-Beat/Trance Movement as early as 2014 with first releases on the infamous BFDM imprint, the tastemakers from Lyon have no difficulties navigating both prime-time sets at Dekmantel and making one of the best Test-Pressing mixes to date (though rumor has it Virgil Abloh made one recently) (just a minor tease, much love guys).

For 5918 mins. Guillaume decided to go on his own and deliver an incredibly skillfully executed 1-hour deconstruction of an up-to-date club-set. Abstract, fucked-up and emotional. Dive in!

"Diapason is a Neukoelln based events series created by Ondula and Eva Geist, inspired by obscure music culture, experimental art and experiences of life in suburban communities of outsiders. With Petra Péterffy’s morphic graphics and animations, Diapason has become a much anticipated bi-monthly appointment for the Sameheads audience.

The recent lockdown forced Sameheads to cancel our latest two episodes. Shifting to this hidden virtuality, we want to keep the tradition alive and have reached out to some of our past guests and assembled a Diapason Compilation Tape Vol. 1 featuring new music from some of the artists who inspired us.

The tape will be available to order as a pre-sale from next week, and tracks will also be available to buy in digital form via bandcamp. Full info to follow shortly....

"Fan Club is an intimate community-focused celebration recurring quarterly on the solstices and equinoxes of each season. To usher in the new Spring (2019), we gathered in a modest structure in the forest near Silver Falls (Oregon). The fusion of energy provided by the fresh snow and impending Spring resulted in a night of mystical improvisation, becoming more hypnotic as the dark transformed into morning. This mix is a section of a near 4-hour recording using cdjs and turntables— diving into a fungi fueled trance that collages questionable tempos into new ‘scapes."
