Our first release features tracks from Anex (Nottingham) and Rowl (Milton Keynes) entitled Delusions and Resolution. Delusions is set at 140bmp and fuses a blend of repetitive rhythms, shattering synthesis and gut-rumbling bass to deliver a massive dance floor track that gets the toughest of crowds going. This release was dropped and rewound numerous times by the ICU crew at Outlook Festival 2011.
Backing this huge track is Rowl – Resolution. Some could say that this track blends the ICU crew into the new ‘dungeon’ sub category. The melodic intro lulls one into a false sense of security which ids quickly followed by massive synthesis production and inspirational arrangement. The clean beats, low sub bass and neuro funk style synths are guaranteed to blow up the dance every time.

ICU Audio are currently releasing digitally on Junodownload. The release date for ICU001 is set for 21st November 2011.

I did this one around 2-3 years ago and it became one of the staples of my live sets throughout 2017 & 2018 with people regularly asking about it. I wanted to bridge the gap somewhere between autonomic drum & bass, ambient music & sound system pressure. I focused on steady and subtle progressions floating on top of a rigid foundation. Dubwise. Seizing the spotlight for Sub Audio Records' fourth 12" pressing, Vienna's very own Scooped untethers his long-awaited debut vinyl release. The skilled craftsman arose out of the boiling melting pot of Austria's thriving Dub and Dubstep scene and has been actively shaking up dance floors with high-grade productions since 2015 - receiving recognition from the likes of Joe Nice & Truth in the process. Musically rooted in the spirit of Reggae and Dub, the release features a collaboration with acclaimed vocalist Danny Ranks, who's gifted lyrical performance - music with a message - perfectly matches the irreproachable instrumental - a profound Dub cut succeeding in a traditional version style, drenched in tape delays and otherworldly reverb. Turning to the B-Side, the imprint welcomes none other than the heavyweight sound system and musical veteran Dubbing Sun to the family and mixing desk - serving a super-charged signature style Stepper's remix with relentless might. Concluding the record in reflective excellence, label owner and operator Gnischrew manifests his sonic technique through an ephemeral take on the original, inducing a final instance of pressure-assisted meditation at 140 BPM.
