Following the break after a recent soundcloud release, Sidney returns to the plate swinging with his latest effort, "Merry-Go." The song catches the ear with its smooth lullaby like melody and is reinforced by the stacked chorus provided by Sidney and long time collaborator, friend and local talent Derric Gobourne Jr. Sidney's story telling like style of rap shines on this record as covers his memories of going to the Sarasota County Fair when he was younger only to switch the paste to talk about a girl he meets at a party. Between the warmth of the underlying bass and the harmonic masterpeice by Derric at the tail of the peice, the song is a reminder that contempary hip-hop is the alternative to today's heavy trap-rap influence with it's nostalgic lyrics and it's timeless R&B vibes.
