KREEATE - Feels Like Home

For our first premiere of the week, we present a pumping house track from Galway's, Dave Era. Straight to the point dance-floor business from the Galway native.

Dave Era aka David Shortt is a DJ/Producer from Galway. He co-owns Devoid, a collective based in Galway, and is a resident of A Collective based in Athlone.

Over the last few years David has developed his sound, bringing a fresh take to his music, bringing elements of classic house and techno to life across uplifting melodies, breaks, stabs and straight 909 power.

We premiere his latest track ‘It’s Like That‘, which Dave will be uploading to his Bandcamp. The track is reminiscent of older jacking house with touches of the UK rave scene.

Having previously released on various labels and promotional channels such as Moskalus, Houz, Zone Focus, A Collective and Lefty Shades Records, we expect to hear a lot more from Dave in the near future as the strength of talent in Ireland continues to blossom.

Hey everyone!
Been a minute since I've put a track up here. I have been focusing on some other projects for a bit, but I really wanted to get something up on this. I'm sick of sitting on tracks! 

Here is "The Dance Isn't Over"( which is inspired by the TV Girl - Lovers Rock sample "The Dance is Over") I loveee the sample so much, and I wanted to make something a bit more upbeat that would suit the end of an afterparty, or the morning coffee depending on which feeling you get when you listen :)

Aeroplanes whizzed past with onlookers peering from the small windows, they watched him fly. All of his life he had been ready to ascend into outer space and join the heavens, the ground was no place for a man like him anyway. When it had been time to elevate, he'd packed his bags, left his house, cast a brief look back over his shoulder at the place he'd once called home and flew upwards in the hope of something new. Now it was time to start all over again amidst the clouds. 

Human Movement is set to release a new track on Of Leisure, a club focussed heater with a hell of a punch. This one is likely to see heavy rotation and fierce results.

hope everyone is keeping well. so have been working on some new, different sort of music throughout lockdown. I, like many artists have been struggling to find that motivation and spark, but have been trying new sounds and techniques and am digging producing again. I also have so much to release.. but I just got caught in that artist limbo where I was almost afraid to post tunes? So today that changes! here is a track that I have been working on the past few days. a bit different to my other stuff, but hopefully you'll enjoy.

What Goes Up are a collective based out of Edinburgh who focus on promoting the best up and coming artists in electronic music. After a successful mix series over the last year, the group have been working hard on the release of their new VA Compilation which is all in aid of mental health in Scotland. The VA will be released on Bandcamp on February 28th. All proceeds from all tracks will be going to the charity SAMH directly.
