Episode 81 - Interviewing a Rhodesian British American History Teacher

Anthony “Tony” Machi, who grew up in Milwaukee’s old Italian Third Ward neighborhood in the 1920s-1940s, recalls the religious Italian Milwaukee social groups and the street festivals (feste) they used to sponsor. He describes the events of the festivals, including processions, music, and food. The interview was conducted by Larry Baldassaro on March 23, 1991.
