Compiled here is a collection of beats on floppy disks and older lost beats made over the past couple years. Inquire through personal message system for pricing and deals.

Some of these demos are provided as a preview of what the beat sounds like from the MPC and the original lost demos. The final sound mix can be adjusted to your specification if you do not wish to obtain the separate track layers yourself. The Akai MPC60ii and MPC2000 were used exclusively in sampling and sequencing with the exception of a couple old tracks near the end. All samples come from vinyl records.

When purchased, you can obtain the separate track layers, cuts from a Shogun DJ (extra cost), or simply have the track mixed for you (extra cost). Custom track arrangement comes with the initial beat purchase.

Peace everyone. 

It's been a long time.. but once again, I am back with a new sound.

It really is a pleasure to finally be able to present this track! This track is part of a larger project, Boom Bap Language; An international Hip Hop Project that spans the globe with many mc's and spoken languages.

Something for the world and culture lovers. 


Now for the song, which was written in 2015.. Quite a time. 

Theme is important to me. Considering the projects nature, I thought that my approach was rather laid out for me. I should try and explore something that encompasses the winder human, rather than focus on words and themes that are of American origin or anything that really ties the verses down to a particular cultural. During the first verse this is explored. 
The second verse explores my identity a little bit more.. touching on topics of stylistic origins and strengths. 

The hook itself was the part of the song that had the most trouble; I did write a hook that was a little more in line with the theme of the project, but something about it just didn't pan out. 
I ended up using something that was a little bit more simple and like a chant - A call to attention, to check the song, project and style out. 

I'm really pleased that this project is finally out now, and that I've been able to be a part of it! 

The song is an earnest and original take - I hope that you enjoy it.
