Thomas Hoffknecht Basement Sessions 006 (Hybrid Set) 09-02-2018

Arguably one of Chicago’s most revered techno producers, DJ Rush debuts at the club on 9th March. Artfully merging the sonic styles of his native Chicago with his current home of Berlin, DJ Rush is an advocate for hard techno, pushing a percussive heavy, fast past sound which reaches well beyond 140 BPM for a thoroughly electrifying experience on the dancefloor. In his own words, ‘Not letting the music control me, but letting the music guide me’ is how Rush approaches each DJ set, which has allowed him to become a real storyteller of sound behind the decks.

Ahead of his 3 - hour set coming up on 9th March, Rush shares a no-messin’, straight-up mix with us which travels deep into most the scintillating corners of techno…
