Champion Records proudly presents a very special collection of remixes by the legendary Kerri Chandler.  We’ve gone back through the archives and collated all the remixes the Madhouse main man has done throughout our 30 year history, and includes his versions of rare and lost tracks as well as club classics.

Many of the tracks included have previously only been released on DJ-only white label promo vinyl and never commercially released on any format (see Kristine W’s “Don’t Wanna Think”), while others are included for their sheer classic status (Robin S, Sandy B, Kristine W Remixes for example).  Over 70% of the tracks here have never been released digitally before now.

We will be continuing the “Remixers” series with another collection from Stonebridge coming very soon.

D.J. Rogers (DeWayne Julius Rogers) released the album «It’s Good To be Alive» back in 1975, it’s a fantastic soul album, ear candy from beginning to end, I highly recommend this gem, a cure for heart and mind.
I was looking for samples but ending up here with a stable edit of the track « (It’s Alright Now) Think I’ll Make It Anyhow».
I had fun in the process and would like to share.

MERC is very proud to welcome Mark Seven as guest editor on E-Versions 7. 
It took along time, a lot of telephone conversations, a lot of pleading, digging, sweat and tears  to simply find out what TONYS SLICE was after hearing it on Mark's Parkway Mastermix.
Turns out its MKVIIs attempt at recreating a live mix by Tony Humphries he heard on Kiss cutting 2 copies of the phone conversation back and forward forever. 
With EV7 looming we knew this would be a perfect opportunity to have a guest on the series, so we persisted and broke him down and he finally gave in to the pressure. 
In addition to TONYS SLICE  MKVII has turned in a superb acid work out in the form of CASE STUDY 9.

Edinburgh's own Theo Kottis makes a strong statement with his debut album 'Beautiful Strangers' as he resets his creative output to showcase his passion for the dancefloor.

Here Mixmag reveals the premiere of one of the more unique tracks off the album titled 'Acid Disco'. With a deep chugging acid riff, thumping bass, gripping percussion and soulful horns, Theo highlights a familiar vocal sample to deliver a funky dancefloor bomb. 

Look for the 'Beautiful Strangers' LP, which is the first in a trilogy of albums, to be released June 15.

Three years on from his latest solo outing, Crazy P founder member Chris Todd AKA Hot Toddy returns to House of Disco with a predictably fine four-tracker. Our pick of a very strong bunch is the toughened up, revivalist electrofunk flex of "Wilde Touch", where clipped guitar riffs, crunchy Clavinet lines and colourful melodies ride a rubbery bassline, though the Paper Recordings-era Crazy P deep house/disco fusion of "Still We Are" is almost as impressive. Speaking of Crazy P, lead singer Danielle Moore lends her distinctive vocals to the Imagination-ish Brit-boogie business of "Positive Emotion", while the EP's other track, opener "Synthesize", is a darker and more spaced-out chunk of weighty, bassline-driven nu-boogie goodness.
