For us, VISION has always been about pushing the envelope, both musically and artistically. For ‘Chronos’ we wanted to write something with this ethos whilst focusing on space in the music, and also exploring themes of modern sci-fi. VISION has been massively influential on us since its inception, so it’s been an honour to work with them on this release.

 Kapitel: Rücksprung // Beat gegen Beton
Ich sitze auf der Bank im Hof, aber es fühlt sich nicht nach draußen an. Der Himmel hängt wie Graffiti ohne Farbe. Die Luft ist trocken, aber der Körper feucht – nicht von Wasser, sondern vom Zustand.
Heute ist besser als gestern – aber besser heißt hier nur: Ich kann sitzen ohne zu brechen.
Dann höre ich ihn.
Nicht den Wärter. Nicht Murschel.
Ihn. Der Rapper.
Dieselben Sneaker, dieselbe lockere Haltung. Diesmal mit anderer Jacke, aber immer noch mit Worten, die klingen wie Zündfunken.
„Yo! Da isser. Der Poet im Betonbett!“
Ich lache tatsächlich – kurz, rau, echt.
„Und du? Der Beat auf Bewährung?“
„Ich bin frei, Digga. Nur meine Texte sind manchmal in U-Haft.“
Er setzt sich neben mich, ganz normal, wie man das macht, wenn man nicht weiß, wie viel Raum jemand braucht – und genau den trifft.
Ich sehe ihn an. Er wirkt nicht fremd, nicht fremder als ich selbst.
„Ich hab viel an dich gedacht“, sag ich leise.
Er nickt. „Hör mal… du bist in Zelle B, okay. Aber dein Flow ist draußen. Ich hab deinen Vibe mitgenommen.“
Ich bin kurz still. Die Sonne flackert durch die Gitter wie schlechte Laune.
„Manchmal“, sage ich, „ist mein Körper so sehr Knast, dass selbst der Gedanke fliehen will.“
Er legt den Kopf schräg.
„Bruder… weißt du, was du gerade gemacht hast? Du hast 'ne Punchline gegen dein eigenes Leid gesetzt. Das ist Kunst. Das ist Therapie.“
Ich will das glauben.
„Gib mir was“, sag ich. „Ein Text. Irgendwas. Für heute.“
Er lächelt – aber nicht weich, eher wie Asphalt, auf dem was wächst. Dann zieht er das Handy raus. Blättert. Scrollt.
„Hier. Neu geschrieben. Für dich vielleicht:
Zelle B, doch ich träum mich raus Jeder Blick wie’n Alarm, doch ich bleib zuhause Körper wie’n Käfig, doch mein Geist hat’n Lauf Therapie oder Tape – ich nehm jeden drauf.“
Ich nicke. Ich atme. Ich spür die Worte wie einen inneren Lichtschalter.
Dann stehen wir einfach da. Zwei Menschen im Schatten zwischen Gitter und Hoffnung. Und keiner spricht mehr.

Weil alles gesagt wurde – und gerade nichts repariert werden muss....)
