'Montreal-based producer Tyler W makes his debut as an artist with a fantastic first release on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records. His track 'Scorpion Rising' is a melancholic piece filled with beautiful melodies.

On remix duties, Erdi Irmak changes the tone of the track to create a gentle and pleasing organic house ballad. The handsome flute and enchanting bird sounds form an appeasing symbiosis.

Last but not least, Paul Kardos twists the original track into a progressive house weapon that will hypnotize the dancer with driving drums and emotive synth.

UK and London based producer, Dougal Fox makes his debut with us through our PHW Elements division with the deep and dreamy progressive production named as “Seven Seas”. He is a producer that is just around the corner for a real breakthrough as he is all class through his music. With this beauty, we of course hope that a few of our followers will hear something new and exciting to dig in on. 

On remix duty, we see 2 fresh names on the progressive scene with Germany based Rikken returning to the label. He’s been a frequent artist with us over the years in different shapes and this is another steady and energetic production from him, just as expected. With a fantastic atmosphere throughout the track, we welcome him back to the PHW family once again. It’s as fresh and melodic as ever from him and we do think this is a treat for many of you following the label. 

We also see a return from Sri Lanka native, VeeQue who once again proves his skills through his quirky interpret.  With melodic layering, a deeper way of taking things, he pulls off another dimension to the release through his take. We love the diversity on the release and think there is a bit of everything inside for you.

Kobana – not many artists can be quickly recognized after just a few musical notes.

Kobana is definitely one of them thanks to his unique production style. His signature is enclosed in amazing percussion and synth lines, which work together creating synergistic effect. As one of the journalists has put it: “they pop up together so well…”.
 
Kobana’s music journey started around millennium change when he got introduced to basic capabilities of computer recording software and flexibility which only computer workstation can offer.  Since then, he has spent countless hours in his home studio learning production techniques, tweaking and bending the sound, reverse engineering someone else’s music productions, finding out the best use of mastering science and plugins.

The result of his dedication is quickly recognizable in his productions: all sounds create a fantastic harmony that engages the listener and ideally transfers Kobana’s emotions. His skills were quickly recognized and fructified (and still do) in number of collaborations (some of them became an ongoing projects: with Mario Hatchet and Yane3dots, some others were just one off). 

Nowadays Kobana is regarded as one of most talented producers in the progressive house world. 
Top DJs and labels in the industry appreciated his music, his dj sets appeared in the most respectable radio shows.  However, as Kobana used to say: this is only just the beginning. His motto: to deliver quality over quantity remains true.
