This is a love song for Citi, the beautiful Iranian girl fleeing the Khomeini regime in 1980. We fell in love in Istanbul amidst the turmoil of a military coup d'etat and we travelled on to Venice. There our ways parted as I left to South America and she went to live in Florence. I have never heard of her since.
