UK DJ/producer SOSA lands on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this May with a bumping house two-tracker ‘The Wave’. 

Following releases on Cuttin’ Headz, Solid Grooves Raw & Sola, not to mention his own imprint COCO, Liverpool-based SOSA arrives on Jamie Jones’ revered Hottrax imprint with ‘The Wave’, bringing a dose of fast-paced, bass-heavy house music for his debut. 

Title cut ‘The Wave’ sees swung, intricate percussion dance around heavy low-end pressure, introducing hyped vocals and sizzling risers throughout the track for pure dancefloor pandemonium. Flicking between bouncing, syncopated basslines, ‘Warp Speed’ wraps itself around chunky percussion and vocal samples for a thrilling conclusion to a high energy EP. 

With supporters like Alan Fitzpatrick, Skream and the Martinez Brothers as well as love from Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Annie Mac, SOSA is at the vanguard of a new wave of house producers set to dominate in 2021 and beyond.

London based DJ and producer Dan Shake gets tapped to supply the next release on Denis Sulta’s Sulta Selects offshoot Silver Service with ‘Daisy’s Dance / Bert’s Groove’, a pair of disco-tinged house cuts with raw dancefloor energy. 

Since emerging with a standout 12" on Moodymann's Mahogani Music label, Dan Shake has moved from strength to strength. Throughout his career he's released on Lumberjacks In Hell, Delusions Of Grandeur and has built a stacked catalogue of originals material via his own Shake imprint. Now he continues his strong output in 2019 with big room house flavors on his latest EP, proving he's one of the most reliable purveyors of club-focused anthems in the game today.

New school house tastemakers Mason Collective make a big bang with their explosive Play It Say It label debut.

Mason Collective are a red hot outfit blowing up the house scene right now. The trio of DJs and producers hail from Manchester and next to their robust club tracks on labels like Whippin Records, Loco Dice’s Desolat and HotTrax, they also promote their own hugely popular - and always sold out - MVSON events.

Their no-nonsense style is here for all to see from the off; 'That's Gas' has a superbly programmed and tightly woven groove that is infectious and propulsive. Sci-fi sounds, filtered vocals and skewed synths peel off the urgent groove and demand you dance. The warm and rubbery 'Ready to Work' echoes Chicago great Gemini with its paranoid bass and vocals as well as high speed sense of house funk.

The wonky titular track shows another side to the collective: it's a freaky late night jam with daubs of melody, unhinged and wispy synths and a kinetic minimal house groove. This most expressive EP finishes with the slick tech and driving drums of 'Steezin', which has a flurry of 909s, taught bass and chopped up vocal sounds that will set any dance floor alight.

This is a fresh, high class take on house music from these contemporary stars.
