With "VA - Outworld 001", the Berlin-based artist Klangkuenstler sets the tone for his new label 
venture of the same name, delivering a blueprint of techno that is futuristic in feel, yet firmly rooted 
in the analogue aesthetics of its heritage. In consequence, Outworld embodies a timelessness, 
which runs parallel to its mission statement – to take the listener deep into the outer realms and 
beyond.
Klangkuenstler's own stellar contribution, 'Supernova', is central to this essence, both in name and 
sound: the textured, high-velocity drum programming bursts with energy and propels the track 
forward relentlessly, while a transcendental synth dances amidst eerie pads and a squelching acid 
bass-line.
'The Evolution', by Manchester's Rudosa, also reaches for a higher sphere by way of a crystalline, 
ever-morphing lead that stretches towards infinity in its climax. Rumbling underneath, heavily 
pounding drums add balance, while acting equally hypnotic.
Hush & Sleep from Maastricht then conclude the odyssey with 'Nio', a muscular builder, consisting 
of dynamic cyber-strings looped endlessly above a fiercly galloping groove. As washes of white 
noise and hi-hats take off into space, it's evident that the EP ends with a third definition of one 
specific feeling: Outworld.

Sam Deliaert AKA Farrago steps up with a new four-tracker on Amelie Lens’ imprint LENSKE. Kidney Shot is his third outing on the label following the very much revered Risin’ EP -which in 2018 inaugurated LENSKE including a collaboration with Lens and a remix by Kobosil- and the killer uncompromising Neontrance from last summer. Ahead of appearances at Awakenings Festival, Kappa Futur Festival, the OFFSónar Exhale party in Barcelona, Rotterdam Rave and touring through India, Japan and Canada this year, the Belgian DJ & producer returns in pure form.

The record opens with Fall To Ruin where Farrago continues to develop his industrial yet trancey production, delivering high levels of energy to the dance floor. The title track Kidney Shot is the perfect example of this intention too. With total expertise he manipulates echoes with synths creating unexpected and ecstatic breakdowns. On the other side, Flavours Of Youth unleashes a melodic cut with an immersive bass. The EP concludes with the electrifying sound of Vizio.

Created around mid-2020, INTROSPECTIVE's goal is and will always be to promote new artists with talent, but also to make you dance until countless hours on the dancefloor. Fast and groovy tracks as well as dark and industrial ones are on the menu. We want to make darkness and light co-exist, explaining this VA's cover made by one of the label's owners, HTRB. Agressive darkness mixed with bright light, reminding us what freedom and love is out in the nightclubs we miss so much.
