Control Podcast w/ Hofe

Zlatin is a Bulgarian national, born in 1990 in Varna. It is in 2006 that the artist discovered electronic music, which led to grow a strong passion. After years of exploring, he started to produce his own sound and organize parties with DJs that inspired him throughout the years.
At the end of 2021, he launched his own record label called “NOTYOURTYPE” with the idea of sharing his point of view through different artists that he likes, respects and listens to. The focus of the label is to bring together like-minded people that share the same vision of music.
Aside from his numerous independent releases, throughout time Zlatin has also collaborated with labels like Solido Records, Fratii.ro, Spacefunk, AudioMutz, Stamp Records, Soblazn, Aprapta Music, Samani, 4Plae, Deep Department, Lethal Script Label and minim.all, only to name a few.
Zlatin opens his performance with granular organic noises, glitches on top of a solid groove. The focus goes naturally on the abstract developing atmosphere, that slowly mesmerizes the audience. This atmosphere can be at times really complex and on the real side of the matrix, with restaurant backgrounds for example, or, totally acousmatic mind bending soundscapes.
The audience revel in a very large panel of sound curiosities: oriental instruments, great percussive moments, dub vibrations, birds, acoustic drums and a double bass, only to name a few.
The overall mood of the narrative is really, really dark. The artist put emphasis on vocals to strengthen this murky feeling all over the performance, with pitched voice artefacts and sound design. The vocals can also be more definite, like this spooky baby crying and his mother going, “Where are you my baby?”, or what seems to be a documentary on incest in some remote region of the world.
In the end, Zlatin’s act will take any listener into a deep flawless journey. With sleek and intricate details at every listening, great dynamic range designed to surprise the listener, you will not come out of it intact!

In the 22nd issue of Koche Podcast we celebrating New 2023 Year together with Hari @hariaudiomutz. Hari on his real name Patrascu Hariton, born in Dracula's homeland in the mountains of Transylvania ,has his first contact with music early in his childhood when he started breakdancing and founded a crew .During his fifteen years of breakdancing he felt very inspired by Afrika Bambaataa music , James Brown, Dj Shadow and many others.

   The dj-ing career started as a hobby in 2007 playing Deep House and Tech House tunes at several private parties and small bars and clubs in his hometown, Alba Iulia. His passion for underground house music became more than a hobby in 2010, when he was asked to become a resident Dj at a local underground club named EXIT, along with his friend, Zarafu, they started playing together under the name of AudioMUTZ. Their music could be heard at several underground clubs and public radios in Transilvania, Romania such as Raum Club and Dot after-hours Club in Cluj Napoca, and the list goes on and on.

The 23rd Podcast #13 - Tulbure

This week we are back with a deep stripped-down set, mixed by Subd from Brazil. He embraces a dark and hypnotic sound, exactly what the South American minimal sound currently illustrates as well as its perfect fit to Implimind. The Brazilian minimalist is trying to make his name, where he strives everything to be perfect, even the smallest details. He is also busy producing lately and he has been making fast progress. You recognize that similar deep minimalistic sound just like his sets. 

This 1.5-hour journey is filled with lot of new tracks, as well as unreleased tracks. Subd starts with a slow tempo with long transitions and deep tracks. After that, he easefully gives the set more energy by pushing up the pace and adding rollin basslines. However, he still keeps the set nice stripped, with weird sounds, hypnotic synths and minimalistic drums. Enjoy the trip!

Implicit Mind Cast 015: .subd

We welcome Amsterdam selectors/producers and Implimind label owners Combined Type to take control for our next edition of the series. Expect some serious rolling material as they present us with an hour and 38 minutes including some of their own work.

The guys from Combined Type are young deejays as well as producers. They know each other for over 10 years, both growing up in the same village. Their passion for music and affinity with vinyl, producing and deejaying brought them together.

Their sound was made after experimenting with many different styles. In the end, they found the right one by merging their individual taste into one.
