Loved a crook with a socialist dream,
History's tale has got it wrong,
She led the charge all along.

While Robin Hood took all the fame,
Marian's wit won the game.

Robin Hood, a strange ideal,
Dreamed of communes, sharing meals,
Stealing from the rich, what a ploy,
Marian thought, “Oh boy, oh boy.”
But he had eyes so bright and fair,
And fluffy locks beyond compare,
She joined his cause, with brains to spare,
Led the outlaws everywhere.

The merry men, they cheered her name,
For she turned the outlaw game,
Robin's schemes, they'd fall apart,
If not for Marian's cunning heart.
She whispered plans in moonlit glades,
Turned reckless fights to cunning raids.

Lucky enough to travel to some cool cities as a musician, New York, Austin TX, Chicago, Paris. This is the music that comes to mind when exploring these cities. I nearly called the track 'City Timelapse' but I liked the idea of the title being quite plain so the listener can immerse themselves in their own experience of walking/exploring a city. Hope you enjoy :)
