Making part of the second wave of Romanian talents by Nights.ro Awards 2012 Dubphone was hosted by Tresor Berlin,Space Ibiza,The Wood Brussels,Charada Madrid,Underground Ibiza,Revier Zurich,Grafitti Bern,Playground Bern,Miniclub Valencia,Macarena Barcelona,Boulevard Club Barcelona,Studio Martin Bucharest etc.

Signed with Act Natural London,Electronique Berlin,Inmotion Music,Serkal New York,Baile Musik Frankfurt and owner of Vandalism Musique label group founded in 2013 during his residency in Ibiza.

Dubphone was one of the best Beatport TOP 100 Techno - Minimal producers in 2014 after the releases he had on his label Vandalism Musique,Baile Musik,Serkal,Soundpark.

He played in the last 4 years around Europe from the sunny beaches of Ibiza and Bordeaux via Sonar OFF Barcelona to the most underground clubs from Berlin to Bucharest.

Dubphone had colaborations with Rick Maia (FACT,Kina Music) the EP was released on SERKAL - New York.
Chad Andrew (Dissonant) and Egal 3 aka Vid (Memoria Recordings) - Unreleased
and in 2013 he released a EP on Kosmophono Records (Italy) in colaboration with Rosario Internullo (DESOLAT) wich was remixed by Nima Gorji and Wigbert and gained great support after from Richie Hawtin,Paco Osuna,Leon,tINI,[a:rpia:r] and many other artists.

Dubphone was broadcasting live sets and he was resident DJ on Ibiza Global Radio,Proton Radio (USA),Vicious Radio (Spain),Vibe FM (Romania).

First made contact with electronic music at the end of primary school. Having passed through between house and trance music, he found balance in techno.

Started production in 2010, having his first track signed and released at Volt9 Records as part of "Straight Underground - No Stars Vol. 2" compilation.

Since 2010 he continued focusing on production having multiple releases on labels such as Select Case, Vandalism, Skills, Wasabi Recordings, Mood Indigo, Bungalowa Connection, Bedroom Bedlam and others, alongside artists such as Jay Haze, Mikhail Kobzar, Miro Pajic, Borodin and many others.

2015 is a full year so far, with upcoming gigs, and releases with Dubphone at Inwave Imprint, Deep Tech records, Vandalism Musique and others to be confirmed.

The Avenue Red Podcast presents Romanian selector O'laru, who hails from the large port city of Constanta on the Black Sea coast. George has a wicked collection of deep, melodic, minimal and atmospheric house records that are right in the Avenue Red groove. With an ultra smooth mixing style, he takes you on a trip here that would work just as well on the dancefloor as it would in your headphones or on your Hi-Fi.

"I started to listen to and collect electronic music since I was 13-14 years old. I'm digging for music almost each day, I think it has become like a way of life for me to look each day for new stuff that fascinates me. My sound is influenced by the sound of artists like Zip, Moodymann, Raresh and Matthew Herbert. I have some rare gigs yearly around the Black Sea coast, Bucharest and Cluj Napoca.

During the mix, I tried to create an atmosphere which represents me the most in terms of sound. The selection was made between some of my all time favourite tracks and some interesting ones which I found just recently. I hope you'll enjoy the journey!" George O'laru, November 2016
